I always hate it when a Sports Stadium or Arena gets demolished. Especially when it's an old/significant one. I wasn't old enough to remember it being demolished but I hate knowing the Boston Garden is gone (despite being a Laker fan) that place should've been a historical site. Memorial Stadium in Baltimore being demolished sucked a lot. In a way I'm happy my grandfather before it was demolished, he had great memories of the places as a Baltimore Colts and Orioles fan.
I really wish the city of Miami kept the Orange Bowl and tried to restore it like Dallas did for the Cotton Bowl. That stadium was a landmark and shouldn't have been torn down. Granted the Marlins are getting a new stadium there but its not the same. I was also saddened to see the Spectrum go in Philadelphia, I guess because like the others historical value. Theres other current venues I'd hate to see go such as The Great Western Forum (which I know is going to be kept), The Coliseum in Los Angeles, the Rose Bowl, and the Cotton Bowl, I'm hoping to visit all four one day. What are some you miss?

The old Wembley Stadium. The new one is a great stadium but they decided to get rid of the Twin Towers which were the most iconic part of the old structure. Why they couldn't keep them is a mystery to me.

I miss Shea Stadium, I always thought it had more personality than Citi-field.
Also the Old Yankee Stadium, just because of all the History that took place there.

Wembley
They destroyed an iconic stadium that every football player dreamed about playing at, and replaced with an astronomically expensive ugly concrete bowl.

The St. Louis Arena/Checkerdome, former home of the Blues.
Yeah, it got drafty, but it still had charm. I really wish something had been done with it as opposed to the city chucking it aside for the sake of the Scottrade Center.

Shea Stadium. It was ugly, dirty, kinda cheesy with the stick figure baseball player on the side. Other words, perfect for the Mets. It was a Mets stadium. Citi Field is a Wilpon can't get over his childhood stadium.

I never do. By and large new stadiums are far more comfortable, less hazardous to walk down the stairs, etc.

Old Yankee Stadium seems like it should have been preserved as a historical monument and museum. Even if they no longer played there, you don't think people would pay money to stand at the same plate guys like Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Joe Dimaggio and Roger Maris stood?

Market Square Arena and the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis and Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. And the old Yankee Stadium for sure, the soulless new one is a poor replacement.

The Kingdome(Seattle, Wa)
It was ugly. The comparisons to tombs and crypts aren't too inapropriate. But the memories made in that place by guys like Griffey, A-Rod, Edgar, The Big Unit, and others, all called by the legendary Dave Niehaus can never be replicated, duplicated, or forgotten.

There was a cool outdoor stadium in Nashville that for years was known as Starwood Ampitheater and was home to so may great concerts.
Well, several years ago, they claimed that major bands like the Rolling Stones, who were waaay to big to play there anyway ruined things by setting their inflated ticket prices, and many others followed.
So, they closed it down and sold it to a real estate developer, and the bottom fell out of that. Assholes (No, not the Stones)

I miss The Summit. You would think that after winning Two Championships there they wouldn't sell it to a church.
Some stadiums that I miss even tho I haven't been to them:
Veterans Memorial Mile High Candlestick Park The Omni

Old Yankee Stadium, definitely. I like the new stadium, but the old one is just something you can't replicate.
While they were gone WAY before I was born, I wish the Polo Grounds and Ebbetts Field stayed around. Shea was also a complete dump, but it had some character. And as a complete dump it was perfect for the Mets. ;D
It's kind of a shame that Fenway and Wrigley are two of the only real old stadiums left as far as baseball goes. The next oldest ones get into those godawful designs from the mid-late 20th century.

It's a shame, because I never really been in a stadium that would be torn down later. I mean, Wrigley Field will probably at least another 10 years. And the others in Chicago are still pretty new in comparison to other arenas. I wish I could have gone to the Chicago Stadium when it was still around. From the videos I've seen, that place seemed to have an awesome atmosphere. And to be honest, that's really all I care about in a sports experience. I understand we live in a world where comfort is the most important. And I wouldn't trade comfortable seats for any experience I've had at Wrigley Field.
