New York Jets. Amazing how much a team that hasn't won jack s*** likes to talk and make guarantees. I agrees with you since I am Miami Dolphins fan. NYJ still cry about everything and they have horrible uniforms. Their uniforms are worse than Buffalo Bills.

Tied - Eagles and Cowboys. Of course they are in my favorite team's (The Giants) division, that's why I loathe them, I don't even like their fans, people I know personally...etc..The Steelers are a close second in most hated.
NBA - The Lakers.....they win too much, are too cocky...

Montreal Canadiens: They are run by a bunch of morons + can't stand 85% of the fanbase. Agree with the first part of your comment, but the second? Hey, UP YOURS Captain Bandwagon. Two teams I don't really like are the Devils and the Panthers (NHL). I just find them to be really boring. Brodeur was great to watch though, I'll give the Devils that. Then there are the Bruins, who have only two decent fans: slickness and a guy I talk to on another site. The rest are bad. Especially BRV.

1. Pittsburg Steelers 2. Dallas Cowboys 3. Pittsburg Steelers 4. Denver Broncos (although I like and respect Tebow) 5. Pittsburg Steelers 6. Baltimore Ravens 7. Pittsburg Steelers 8. Oakland Raiders 9. Pittsburg Steelers 10. Pittsburg Steelers. Reasons Why Dallas: I remember the 90's when Dallas was good, I remember hearing "America's Team!" over and over again. I can't stand their band wagon fans and don't particularly care for their "long time real fans" either. Denver: Again, I like Tebow ok and have to roll my eyes at a lot of the crap he takes, but I HATE this team with a passion. Anytime someone talks to me about them, and I mention I'm a Browns fan, I get to hear about "the pass" and "the fumble" back when the Browns came so close to making it to the super bowl, only to be beaten by these losers and bucktooth Elway. These morons then go on to be utterly raped by San Fransisco (a team Cleveland beat that year). Screw this team. Baltimore: "Oh, you're a Cleveland fan? Heh heh...don't you know the REAL Browns moved to Baltimore? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! They even bought...errrr...I mean won a superbowl!!!!!!!!!" Nuff said here. Oakland: Not really my most hated team. I just remember years ago ever wanna be pussy "gangsta" would wear Raiders crap to look "cool" and "tough." Just dumb. Don't have anything particular against the team though. Pittsburg: Oh, how I hate this team. I hate them in the morning, I hate them in the evening, I hate them at supper time. If Pittsburg was on a bagel, I could hate them anytime. They have bus loads and bus loads of band wagon fans. Just ONE bad year...where they go 4 and 12...losing to the Browns both times...and I promise half their fanbase would suddenly vanish. I hate their arrogance, I hate thier dumb terrible towels, I hate their dynasty, I hate their legacy. I hate them!!!! Oh, and before that one Pittsburg fan chimes in with "Oh, but the Pirates and Penguins suck, so we need the Steelers to at least be good!" I got news for ya...Cleveland's baseball team sucks, our basketball team sucks, we don't have a hockey team but I'm sure they'd suck, and our football team sucks...so shut yer yap before I cram those 30 super bowls up where the sun don't shine!

First off if ou're going to hate the PittsburgH Steelers, at least spell the city's name correctly. Also, we were terrible in the 1980s and the sell out streak continued. So your theory on if we had a 4-12 season the fan base would disappear is incorrect. In 2003, we were 6-10 and the fans continued to fill the stadium all the way to the bitter end of that miserable season. Pirates continue to draw a semi-decent crowed despite being terrible for nearly 20 years. Does winning help draw a crowd? Yes, but it's like that every where. Don't know what Steelers/Pittsburgh fan wronged you in the past, but man, I am sorry. We're all mostly pretty good people. We love our sports teams through good and bad.

MLB- Yanks and Red Sox. Both teams play straight up money ball, just pick and choose talent that other systems spend lots of time developing. Does it work? Sure. Despite that, my Rays are contenders in one of, if not THE toughest division in baseball, the AL East. Know how many Yanks players it takes to match the entire payroll of the Rays? About three. The Rays have done extremely well with very little revenue, and a small fanbase set in an area filled with NY/Boston/Chicago/Philly transplants. This year's AL East playoff race was one of the most exciting finishes I've ever seen in any sport. Boston's complete choke job, Dan Johnson saving the day for the second time in history when playoff implications were there (so clutch, even with an abysmal batting average on the season). Made all the more sweeter when seeing Carl Crawford hang his head.
NFL- The Eagles. Being a die-hard Bucs fan, we've got a long history with Philly. If you follow the game, no need to explain here. Fun fact- the Bucs shut down the Vet with a HUGE win over a strong Eagles team. I'll cling to that bit of trivia for a loooong time as a point of Buc pride.
NHL- Bruins. No real reasoning other than I know quite a few B's fans who are total homer pricks. Made worse with last year's playoffs.

How any rational sports fan can hate the Spurs is beyond me Because everybody views them like they view Roderick Strong: Technically gifted, but no personality whatsoever. And I say this as one of the few Lakers fans who doesn't have an issue with San Antonio and as a Roddy Strong fan.

This is an easy one and you can list a team for every sport you follow and a reason, if you like. For me: - Boston Red Sox: I know it's not everybody and I know a lot of really nice BoSox fans, but so many come into Toronto and act like the Red Sox are God's gift to baseball, despite the fact that we've won the same number of World Series in the last 18 years that you have in the last 93 years...just sayin'. - Vancouver Canucks - Hey Vancouver fans, win SOMETHING...ANYTHING and then chirp Leafs fans. Until then, act with some tact. - New England Patriots - Yup, three titles in 10 years is a lot and impressive and worth celebrating. That being said, some of your fans might want to act like you've been there before. - Manchester City - For a team that has won one relevant trophy in 42 years, your fans might wanna act with some humility. Oh, the nouveau riche. You dont seem to have the teams, just the fans

There are a few Steelers fans I know who are really obnoxious with the team loyalty blinders, acting as apologists for every dirty or bad thing a Steelers player has done (especially James Harrison and his helmet-to-helmet headbutt of Colt McCoy). But every team's fanbase has these sort of morons who let a sense of team loyalty override a sense of right and wrong, so it's not something I specifically hate the Steelers or their fanbase for. If anything, I usually like the brand of hard-hitting, smash mouth football the Steelers play (Steelers vs. Ravens games are among my favorite to watch in the NFL) and I even like James Harrison. But that hit on Colt McCoy was just inexcusable.

MLB- Cardinals- I am a Cubs fan, so that should be enough. Went to a Cubs-Cards game at Wrigley and definitely did not see the so called "classy fans". They chanted 1908 after their win and were basically picking fights through out the game. The Cardinals fans definitely came to Chicago acting like they owned the place. Even a White Sox fan at the game said the Cardinals fans were complete jerks, gave him more crap than the Cubs fans and said they were the worst fans he has ever seen. I have always rooted against the Cards, this experience made it a little more personal. As far as the organization itself, I respect it, it's successful and done the right way unlike the Yankees way of just outspending everyone.
Red Sox- Alot of bandwagon fans around here and they completely annoy me. The crazy thing is I actually rooted for this team in '04, it was nice to see them win. But their fans crap on anything non-Red Sox. Alot of the band wagon fans crap on the Cubs, when I constantly point out they went quite a while without a title themselves. They constantly refer back to atleast they aren't the Yankees, yet have the same our team is the best everyone else sucks attitude. Atleast the Yankees fans will admit it and usually even admit they are front runner fans.
NFL Patriots- As a Colts fan this rivalry got pretty intense for a couple of years. I haven't liked them since the Bledsoe and AFC east days, it has gotten worse since then. Being owned by them for several years and not being able to get past them in the playoffs certainly built up some resentment. I respect the organization and think Belichick is clearly the best coach in the league, but I enjoy nothing more than the Colts beating the Patriots.
Packers- Once again another team I respect, but man are their fans annoying. The Packers are the third most popular team here in Fort Wayne behind the Bears and Colts. I have disliked the Packers for quite a while, it started in the mid-90s with the whole Favre obsession. You could not talk football to a Packers fan without hearing about Favre for ten seconds, it drove me nuts. They compared everyone to Favre, and you know who came out on top. You could talk about a Superbowl or game without the Packers even in it and somehow it came back to Favre. Then there was the whole fiasco when Rodgers took over the QB spot, I felt bad for the guy at the time, alot of the fans did not support him. Obviously now there is no need for sympathy. Now I just simply don't want to see GB go undefeated, win the Superbowl in Indy and then have to deal with their ridiculous fans here.
The Steelers- Another team who has caused the Colts problems in the playoffs and that should be enough. But another popular team in Fort Wayne for no reason besides the fact they are successful is the Steelers. The problem with Steelers fans in Fort Wayne is they believe every other fanbase shouldn't be allowed to talk trash about their team and should bow down to them. They are like facists that believe everyone should be a Steelers fan. They also don't understand the backlash to their team and like Red Sox fans use the atleast they aren't the Cowboys defense, besides the fact they have won more championships and are arguably the most successful team in history. Atleast the Cowboys fans, like Yankees fan embrace being the bad guy and they haven't even done anything since the 90s. I am used to people hating my team even in Indiana, sometimes it's in good fun othertimes it goes too far, but it's sports and thats part of the deal. No fanbase should be immune to it.
NBA
The Lakers- Don't want to see Kobe surpass MJ's rings. Also just sick of seeing them win.
Knicks- Couldn't stand them since the 94 playoffs against the Pacers. Loved beating them the next year, too bad they couldn't go all the way.
Heat- Wanted to see LeBron win in Cleaveland, but now not so much. I don't like the All Star team, even though I like Wade, I want to see them fail.
Pistons- The Pacers incident made it even worse and the playoffs the year before hurt. Unfortunatley the Pacers proved to be the team full of thugs afterwards and I couldn't even root for them until they cleaned house. This has kind of died off since Artest proved to be a traitor and the rest of them team kept getting arrested.

How any rational sports fan can hate the Spurs is beyond me You purposely tanked a season to get Tim Duncan. that enough for ya? Besides, I really shouldn't be mad at you. When you had your best (Robinson) he was SCHOOLED by ours (Olajuwon). As for the Detroit Lions comment. It's a team in the "Black and Blue" division playing like a team from that division should. And if that means getting their hands dirty then so be it. you have to remember, this is a team that not too long ago went 0-16. NOT A SINGLE WIN! I say it thats what gets you riled up, your fans in seats and some type of exposure than so be it. In the end tho, its on you. Just ask Cincy.

Here is what you need to know about Philly fans:
Happens in Philadelphia: National News, Reputation permitatly stained.
Happens in other cites: Mentioned once, never heard from again.
Remember when Cleveland fans threw the bottles on the field that caused the clock to be run off.
Remember when Chicago fans tore a hole in the wall Comisky Park; or published Steve Bartman's home address, or poured beer on Shane Victorino, or got into a fight with the Dodgers, or when a couple of them attacked the Royals first base coach?
Remember when Detroit fans started a riot at Auburn Hills? Or Remember when a guy threw a coin at Allen Iverson?
Remember when Utah fans wore a shirt calling out Derek Fisher for leaving Utah for LA to be closer for treatment for his daughter?
Remember when a Portland fan heckled Vernan Maxwell's wife's miscarriage?
Remember when a New York fan threw a knife at Wally Joyner? Or when they threw ice at the San Diego Chargers knocking out a man? Or when the Bruins went into the stands to fight the fans?
LA fans beat a guy into a coma. KC fans beat the shit out of a Jets fan who took offense to fans saying that New York deserved 9/11.
No, those incidents aren't constantly mentioned by idiots like Skip Bayless? Why not? Because that would mean they would have to rely on something other then lazy hackish journalism. Yeah, cheering Irvin was wrong, but to make like it is something that only happens in Philly is ridiculous. Michael Vick goes down on the road, and the fans do what? They cheer. I've heard it plenty of times this year.

Well, Vick also has the whole "convicted dog murderer" thing going against him. Not that Irvin was a model citizen or anything, but "convicted dog murderer" is pretty bad.
Also, none of Vick's injuries were career ending. Left that little detail out.

But maybe they should accomplish something aside from picking in the top ten every year for as long as I've been alive first.
