There's a thin line between being a big fan and writing weird love letters to your objection of obsession. Very true.

Serena? I'd be more worried about Portia Perez considering alot of the fans that linger in this section... Also, for further studies into this see BOD. Want to know the sad part? I don't think all these guys are super into Deeb because she's an attractive young lady, but because she used to hang out with Punk. To be fair, I've been a fan of Serena since her OVW days. And had her in my sig a few times....and have had her as part of my avatar since forever.......ummm, wait, what. But in all seriousness, I swear, I guess it might also be the way some male fans can be, and I think it's been brought up before about an obvious common interest. And with the indies, they seem to be more accessible then your Mickie James' for example. I do remember hearing Sara Del Rey tell the story someone selling a fan worn socks, and that chick just bought a random pair of socks and had some referee wrap them around his dick or something, I have to listen to that podcast again. As for Dave Prazak, those stories do sound interesting. Especially since it's always been said that he was the guy pushing for women's wrestling, and he seems to always work close to the girls, but so did Finlay and Lance Storm, and they've been happily married for a long time. My opinion of him was shot after the whole Daizee Haze deal, where we should be talking about her 5 star matches instead of the fact she looks like she's gonna drop dead any moment.

I'm too lazy to get obsessed.
All that stalking, and writing crazy letters/e-mails, mailing your favorites all manner of strange items...WAAAAY too much work.

There's a big difference between Dave Prazak and Lance Storm and Finley. lol. Like I said, he's weird, in the big picture compared to other weirdos in the business it's not a big deal, but he's still weird. If it's still following him around now, I doubt he's gotten less weird.

Exactly. Finley and Storm are professionals who are respectful, mature, and gentlemen. Prazak is a mashed potato man who acts like a mark and doesn't know when to shut up.

No creepier than guys who stalk Divas. Can paint them all with the same brush.

No creepier than guys who stalk Divas. Can paint them all with the same brush. They are creepy bastards, too. Probably more so. The largest fanbase for women wrestling has always been 90% male. From my experience with women, most are big fans of Randy Orton and John Cena. They couldn't give a damn about any of the Divas. No saying that's true for every female.

there are probably a few creepy fans. same as any other media. the white knighting Mickie James and Melina get from some people here is the same.

I'm guessing that the male sports entertainers have just as many creepy fans as the women do. It's just that we don't often hear about it. I remember Bret Hart talking about one in his book.

I'm sure it goes both ways, it's just the common concensus is that males tend to be the most overtly creepy. Unfair, yeah, but thems the breaks.

lol
From what I have seen - a certain percentage of them, let's say 99% are very creepy. Utterly devoted to the I'm sure artisticly booming project, and get very ratty (pardon the pun) to any criticism of it.
They love to have their photos taken with female wrestlers (Look, there's a gurl on ma Facebook Ma!) and it must be utterly obvious to Stevie Wonder that these nerds just go home a violently tug off over their handshakes that day.
There was a video on the UKFF (a forum FULL of these sort of above mentioned) of a group of their posters allowing themselves to be chopped in the chest full pelt in front of a small crowd of equals. Say's it all.

Say's it all. 99% is ridiculous and just your opinion based off of a stereotypical response to appear cool. I'm not a fan of women's wrestling...that's not a secret. Doesn't interest me in the least. But I got no problem with people who like it. Do I think some of them are creepy? Of course, but I'm not gonna say it's the majority. The used gear/underwear stuff is disturbing yes, but it's just carnies taking advantage of marks. Oh and I let Blue Meanie chop me full force in the chest before...does that make me creepy? I haven't written him a love letter in at least a month.

Myself and two of my friends once traded stiff chops after a night out at the bar. Does that mean we're all three in crazy stalker love with each other?

I remember 2 or 3 guys letting Ted Dibiase chop them while Virgil held their arms at the Fanfest a few years ago. I don't think any of them were having sexual thoughts about the Million Dollar Man.

I think it's difficult to honestly say that you're a fan of these people for their wrestling ability, if you jack off to them in your spare time.
That's about where the line is.
