I came across a commercial on YouTube today that totally brought back memories from when I was 13. I remember watching ECW on TNN almost every Friday and seeing the commercial for these action figures. Even back then, I thought it was a little odd since ECW was not nearly as big as WWF or WCW. I also wonder if anybody got these toys. They're probably rare nowadays. I even looked on Amazon and some of them are in the 30s range. I don't even remember seeing these at toy stores or in the toy sections at retailers back then.
Anybody ever get these as collector's items?

I remember these! My brother had Justin Credible and I think New Jack. I'll have to see if I can find them.

I usually forget that they, along with the ECW magazine, ever existed

I actually pulled a bunch of these out of storage recently to put up on eBay. What do I have left? Let's see: Sabu (2 different) Raven Taz (2 different) Sandman Buh Buh Ray Dudley D-Von Dudley Justin Credible Shane Douglas Mike Awesome (MOC) These were readily available at most KB Toys as well as Toys R Us during the big wrestling boom of 1999-2001. I'm still tempted to pick up a Balls Mahoney (or B. Mahoney, as they marketed him), just as a completist, but I was never a fan of the OSFTM action figure designs, always preferred the Toy Biz/Marvel style, and still do.

My mom bought me a New Jack one back in the day. She had no idea who he was, but, she found it at our local Pic n Save and knew I liked wrestling.
TBH, I really didn't watch ECW, but, once news of Vince McMahon buying the company hit, I thought I should hang onto it. I still have it somewhere I think, though, it's probably collected more dust than anything.

I bought a box of ECW figures and Toybiz WCW Saturn's for like $5.00 each when a K-Mart here closed around 2000 or so.

I had Tommy Dreamer, Taz, and New Jack. I actually played with them to hell and back and had them "invade" WWF at the time. My wrestling figures were an amalgamation "Invasion" scenario before it ever happened for real. Other than the fact that ECW had already invaded the WWF once. xD
...mine was probably better, too.
It is pretty nuts that they ever got figures, though. Let alone the fact that there were ads for them, which I do remember from TV at least once or twice during Nickelodeon programming, and naturally during ECW on TNN.

I find it hilarious they'd advertise ECW figures on Nickelodeon.

I remember the Steve Corino figure, of all things, though I didn't actually have any of them. Come to think of it, the only wrestling action figures period I remember having were a Jake Roberts WWF figure and a Crush (I think) figure that I just randomly found.

They were pretty good figures and came with accessories and stickers or small postcards. The only down side was the accessories, like protective barrier, chair and maybe ladder were very small compared to 6" figures. They also had a lot of repaints with outfits the guys never wore like Justin Credible with red or neon green shirt and Tommy Dreamer with yellow shirt. If they had just stuck to the first two series they would've been perfect. The Dudley Boys with tie dye shirts were amazing.

I remember in the dying days of KBToys, they would have the ECW guys next to the "generic" wrestling guys. They had a bunch of Sabu and a Chris Candido.
I never grabbed one. KB wasn't exactly known for their low, low prices.

I've got the entire first run, two or three of each in some cases, and quite a few of the second and third series.

I remember seeing them in a model shop down South. I kind of knew of ECW from PWI magazine, but this was years before I got into the product. Only time I ever saw them mind.

I only had two. Sabu and Taz. But man, those figures were so awesome. The arms and legs had joints so you could actually make them do moves properly. But I didn't like how the entire figures were made of hard plastic (as opposed to the older WWF ones where the head and limbs were rubber) as they made way too much noise if they were slammed on the ring.
