This is from wrestlezone.com, so pinch of salt: Additionally, WZ has learned that Alex Shelley quit TNA as well. Apparently WWE will fill extra TV time with, among other things, a Cruiserweight division and/or tag teams, and are looking for smaller wrestlers by way of stocking either, or both. While it has not been confirmed, Shelley will likely go to WWE. There has also been talk of WWE running a Cruiserweight show on the new Network, which could also be a possibility for Shelley.www.wrestlezone.com/news/255065-exclusive-big-update-on-flairtna-another-tna-star-also-doneSo it looks like the end of MCMC. Its a sad day for Detroit, folks.

Hasn't WWE's planned Cruiserweight show been in development for nearly 2 years at this point?

Its always a good sign for a division when they expressly state "yeah, this shit is just filler."
Shelley is 1 of my favorites in TNA, sucks to see him go, but I'm sure he'll do just as well in WWE or with indie shows.

While I doubt the WWE would use him any better, at the very least Shelley would get a better paycheck for being used crappy.

Yeah, he'll go to WWE. But first, he must dominate the best competition in Madagascar. Nothing in wrestling compares to Madagascar.

Considering how much we've seen the MCMG's lately (being told by Hogan that they weren't hungry enough for a title shot last month), I would have no problem with Shelley moving on. But I would prefer Sabin follow him. Filler or not, a Cruiserweight division is needed for the WWE right now.

He's currently still on the roster page. Not believing anything unless he's removed from it.
If it's true and WWE does pick him up, Sabin needs to go with him.

They haven't been doing much with them recently. I just hope that he doesn't get a SHIT NAME like Sheldon Andrew or something like that in WWE and hangs around NXT as a newbie nobody. He's too good for that.

Since I believe that the "WWE Cruiserweight Show" is the Chinese Democracy of Sports-Entertainment and believe I'll see the next Mortal Kombat movie before that show....
Alex Shelley's going to be a breath of fresh air for ROH when the time comes.

If I were Sabin, I'd leave too. Even if it meant not getting into WWE, Sabin would be better served in Ring of Honor or Japan. Shelley is also a great character as well, which will serve him very well if in WWE.
Looking at the roster, TNA would be best served with getting rid of the X-Division after Destination X.

Even if the Cruiserweight show never materializes, getting signed and not wrestling for WWE has to be better than getting signed and not wrestling for TNA.
