I hope he goes to WWE. all his potential was just being wasted in TNA. It's like you have never watched a WWE show in your life. They're not big on high flyers. Alex Shelley's a high flyer? he's always been more of a european-style technician.

It's like you have never watched a WWE show in your life. They're not big on high flyers. Kofi Kingston (Tag Champion - for whatever that's worth these days) Rey Mysterio (mutli time everything champion) Chris Jericho (started out as a high-flying cruiserweight) Christian (current IC champ) Its not that they're not big on high flyers, its that there not big on wrestlers they can't market because they're ONLY high flyers. Shelley's got charisma, mic skills and can run very entertaining without any high flying moves. don't forget some kid names Shawn Michaels.

I'm also wondering what this means for Chris Sabin, I really hope he doesnt get (even more) lost in the shuffle now, without Shelley there. I think with Velvet being the top face of the Ko division, and being a mass merchandise seller for TNA, Sabin's job is quite secure. agreed

Evan Bourne also did pretty well for himself before all the stuff happened to him. Im really looking forward to the cruiserweight show especially if they Shelley for it (Sabin is awesome as well so I hope he leaves with him)

As long as I get to see him on TV, I'm happy.

As TNA aren't using him very well this could be good for him, but I don't see why going to WWE is a certain good move. They have a series aversion to small guys, and don't bring up Punk and Bryan as meaning he will succeed, how many other guys of his size and ability have been signed then junked without being given a chance. A few have made it, but that amount is tiny compared to the amount that haven't.

I can't say it's a surprise, given the mediocre way they handled the MCMG reunion, considering how popular they are, and the way they were fed to Magnus and Joe then left off the shows ever since it was obvious one or more of them were on their way out.
I'll miss seeing him on TNA programming, but I feel he's been treated shabbily and would be better off elsewhere at this point in his career.

I had a feeling this was coming and personally I don't think he's going to continue wrestling at all.
His tweets as of late seem to hint that he's sorry he didn't finish college and do something else with his life.
I can't even adequately articulate how sad this makes me.

And even though they're not heavily pushed, guys like Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, and Hunico have been used by WWE far more than Shelley has by TNA in the last year. Evan Bourne was a tag champ and doing great until his suspensions. If Shelley goes to WWE, at least he'll get to have good matches on NXT and Superstars every week. At least.

He'll also be paid even when he's not being used... unlike most TNA contracts. Regardless if Shelley is gone it's one less reason for me to want to try to get back into TNA.

I don't blame him at this point. TNA as not used him that much lately for whatever reason. The guy as talent and mic skills. The WWE looks for those things. Size doesn't matter as much. If Bryan can be world champion. Shelly has a shot. If Punk can have a long run as WWE champion. Shelly has a shot. All he needs is a chance too show his mic skills and let is in ring do the talking he have a chance too be successful. If he gets the chance to show those mic skills,he's really adept at it. I would honestly hope they make him a heel because he's really great at that. Also because it seems as if that most talents who end up making it have a strong heel run that makes them famous with bryan and punk being the most modern example. I know that from seeing his work in roh that hes got all of the potential in the world to go anywhere on the card. I just hope this isnt him quiting wrestling or something and he actually goes somewhere. He's got so much potential. Heel or face he can be great. That stuff with Nash was a work of art. Which why I think he be fine in the WWE. Because Nash being so close too HHH a lot of other guys in the hire ups. I'm sure Nash as tell HHH that this guy is good. If he leaves wrestling for sure. It would be a lost.

With Velvetmania running rampart, this might actually help Sabin now that Shelly is gone, Sabin can be a singles wrestler now and have velvet come out with him and he can challegen Aries for the title

He is one of my favorite wrestlers in TNA and would be sad to see him go but if he does go to WWE there is a good chance they could use him right and he would get paid better.
