So, we gone from he's going to the cruiserweight show for there, to just some talking about a contract with no deal? SMDH. Whole thread. SMDH. Actually it started out that WWE is planning a cruiserweight show and Shelly wanted to make himself available for being on it, not that he was actually signed to WWE. Then it was announced that there's talk of him actually being contacted by WWE.

Please for the love of God let this happen. The Guns have been consistently over and entertaining for the entirety of their TNA run, they turn shit into gold, and WWE could do amazing things with them if the wind's blowing in the right direction.

In one, he's gone and he's planned to be in the new Cruiserweight show, in the other he's thinking of leaving and was gonna go to Japan, but he's now talking with WWE. It's off.

Seems to make sense to me. He wants to pursue things outside of TNA like WWE or Japan so he makes himself available. WWE contacted him and he's looking in to that. Its not like he said, "I'm quitting TNA for WWE."

It feels more like it's a sequence that was reversed to me, the second story should have popped up first, and then the update should have been the Cruiser story.

Well, the first story was just an announcement that Shelley has left TNA. It also had the 'editorial opinion' that WWE is considering a lightweight division, which would be a good fit for Shelley, but not that Shelley was planning on it. The second story announced that WWE had indeed contacted him. If it had been reversed it would have seemed like he quit TNA specifically because he was contacted by WWE, but that doesn't seem to be the case. First Story Second Story

Question, does the TNA lawsuit make Shelly a toxic acquisition in WWE's mind and thus do u think it effects his potential employment? Shame if it did(for him anyway).

From TNAWrestlingnews I don't see how this will affect things in this case if the WWE didn't make the first move and Shelley just wanted out as he wasn't being used. If there was a legal way to prevent guys up and leaving to try their luck elsewhere, the WWE would have found it by now.

His run in TNA has been mismanaged at times, but all things considered, I feel that it was a success for him. He carved his name in TNA and produced some really good things.... a la Paparazzi Productions with Kevin Nash and The Motor City Machine Guns with Chris Sabin. I hope the E doesn't give him a stupid name.

No more Machine Guns then, that sucks sooooo much. But I hope Alex is given a better chance at shining wherever he goes. I wonder if Sabin gets a chance to leave if he'll end up following him?

Chris Sabin's replacement tag team partner to form the Machine Guns 2.0....Garrett Bischoff. They make their entrance into the Impact zone, Sabin points to his palm to indicate the Motor City reference. And Garrett botches by pointing to the back of his hand. Sabin cries quietly in the corner of the ring.

Again, Sabin will not leave TNA, unless Velvet leaves, which is highly unlikely, as she is the top face of the Ko division currently. If anythng, she can now push Sabin to get a singles run and a major push with the stroke she is having, now that hogan is crazy about her.
