I was a Sorry! fan. Monopoly was boring and Clue was stupid. Sorry! all the way. Trival Pursuit in 2nd.

I do like Stratego, since you can finish it very quickly or it can go on for a long time.
If card games count, Axe Cop Munchkin is up there.

I play Scrabble online now. Checkers and Chess I used to when I was a kid. Battleship was also a game I liked to play as a kid. I always wanted to play CrossFire or Mousetrap.

I really liked Monopoly, Trouble, Sorry!, Mousetrap, and Guess Who? as a kid.
However I recently got Guess Who? for my niece, and the new version is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less fun.

Best topic on the forum in weeks and weeks! Thank you!
For sheer fun and laughs: The Game of Things
For the win: Risk is pretty fun considering the simplicity.
For the unlimited win: Dungeons and Dragons with a great roleplay-oriented DM has to be it.

For traditional board games: Scrabble, Risk and Trivial pursuit are my favorites
For card games, Fluxx is really fun and easy to pick up. I love Munchkin too.

My sister has always had my number at Trivial Pursuit, yet I still keep challenging her for the slim chance that I may one day prove my superiority...
Other than that, I love Life, but it takes forever to play so it hasn't gotten played for eons. Sorry! is good for RAGE, and Monopoly is Monopoly.
I also remember that my (Sicilian) rowing coach would always challenge people to play him at Scrabble during crew training camps and the like, and then he'd always cheat by playing gibberish words and claiming they were Italian...

Risk all day , everyday.
The sheer level of anger that game can bring out is indescribable still to this day.

Monopoly without a doubt. Do families still play board games together anymore ? I've been getting my family playing them. Usually new trivia stuff like Bezzerwizzer and Wits and Wager. Once I get a job, I wanna get more strategy board games like Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride.

Stratego, I love that game but I haven't played it in so long...
Also like Clue and Pokemon: Master Trainer.
