NBA: First team: Oklahoma City Thunder Second Team: Utah Jazz - The Jazz were my team growing up. John Stockton was my favorite player, and I was heartbroken that he and Malone never won a title. I still love the Jazz, but getting a true home team of our own has pushed them back a spot.
NFL: First Team: Kansas City Chiefs. Second team: Buffalo Bills - I grew up in the Cowboys dynasty era, and I hated the Cowboys. So it pretty much meant I was rooting for the Bills by default. It helped that I loved Thurman Thomas.

NFL- Favorite team: New England Patriots. Second favorite: San Francisco 49ers. I just think 'frisco is a cool town (only got to visit once, but I totally wanna go again. In fact I have reoccurring dreams about visiting S.F.). Plus between seeing their logo a lot in episodes of Full House and their SB winning days near the end of the Montana years and Steve Young reminds me of my elementary school days.
MLB- Favorite: Boston Red Sox. Second favorite: Atlanta Braves. I think this has to do with their presence on TBS. Which is weird considering if a Braves game was on it usually meant something else I wanted to watch (WCW, Captain Planet, SBTB, etc) got pre-empted. Also The Braves used to be Boston's National League franchise before going to Milwaukee and finally Bad Street City.
NBA- Favorite: Boston Celtics. Second favorite: L.A. Clippers. Part "the enemy of the enemy is my friend" and part I just like the idea of a team that is essentially the Jan to the Lakers' Marcia Brady. However, if Seattle ever gets another NBA franchise they'll be my new 2nd favorite just because of the way they lost the SuperSonics/Thunder to O.K.C.
NHL- Favorite: Going "homer" again with The Boston Bruins. Second favoite(s): Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks. Ducks because they were originally The Anaheim Mighty Ducks, and any team named after an Emilio Estevez vehicle is cool with me. Sharks because they have an AHL affiliate (the Worcester Sharks) in my hometown.
Edit: Holy crap, with the exception of the Braves all of my second teams are all west coast franchises! Makes for a nice little contrast I guess. Also The Pats and Niners are probably the most diametrically opposed in terms of conference and division (AFC East vs NFC West). Maybe being on the otherside of the country from me makes the grass seem greener?

NBA: Clippers. If the laws of nature would allow it, I would bear Blake Griffin's children. NFL: Jets. I don't even know why. My home state I guess.

MLS - Dallas FC, plan on going to one of their games this season (Preferably when the Timber show up... if they do at least)
NBA - Dallas Mavericks, I have a ton of respect for Dirk and Cuban. Dirk for his playing style, and Cuban for the sheer balls that man possesses.
MLB - St. Louis Cardinals, my stepdad is crazy for them, and I like watching them play too.
NFL - Green Bay Packers, I've always liked them, really I just can never seem to not want to root for them.

AL Fave: White Sox. Second fave, Cleveland Indians. The Indians have a nice stadium, been to it twice. They had a heckuva team in the mid-90s. Kenny Lofton is a local product, and he got a lot of press everywhere he went.
NL Fave: Atlanta Braves. Second fave: Washington Nationals. They're still the Expos to me!
NFL Fave: Green Bay. Second fave: Indianapolis. If I was allowed a third fave, I'd say "anybody who plays the Bears."
I don't really follow the NBA or NHL all that closely. I follow the Pacers, Bulls & Bucks. Maybe more Bulls because it's the closest team and I hear more about them.

I'm a BIG college football fan. The Huskers are my favorite team. I am an alum but cornhusker footall is pretty-much Nebraska's state religion.
I also root for Boise State, Iowa State, Ohio, the military academies, and underdogs in general.
