Besides wrestling, I want to know: What moments left you legitimately shocked while watching a TV Show?

Tara's death on Buffy. Totally didn't expect that, especially because she and Willow had just got back together too.

The one that's most fresh in my mind is probably the last episode of The Walking Dead. {Spoiler} Yeah, sure everything looked like it was heading that way anyway, but still when she walked out of the barn I felt like I'd been kicked in the stomach. Also the very last scene of Dexter Season 4.

Lake getting arrested and Novak getting disbarred in the Season 8 finale of SVU. I liked Lake and preferred Novak to most of the other ADA's, even over Cabot.
Also, as major as Tara's death was, Willow going super-darkside over it was even more shocking. Not to mention the way it lead to Giles boss-as-hell return to face her.

The second episode of the first series of Spooks. Although it was shown nearly a decade ago, I'll spoiler it just in case. {Spoiler}The Actress Lisa Faulkner was one of if not the main stars of the show and possibly the best known by the Public. Then they stuck her character's head and hand in a deep fat fryer and then killed her. After only two episodes, Spooks set the precedent that no character would not die because they were a main star and this carried over for another 9 series.

I've watched only 10-15 minutes of Spooks in total, but that scene has stuck with me since I saw it on it's first transmission.

How about when Caitlin Todd died on NCIS? The episode seemed to conclude with just another happy ending with Gibbs, Todd, and Tony trading quips on a job well done. Tony said something that Gibbs agreed with and said that for once he was right. Cate says, "Wow. I thought I would die before I heard" BLAM!! Sniper shot to the forehead!
For that matter, Gary Dourdan left CSI with another out-of-left-field execution.

I know that nothing on South Park should be shocking anymore, yet somehow they managed with the Indiana Jones rape scene.

Supernatural still shocks me on a daily basis on how much blood and gore they can get away with on a national TV show...on the CW nonetheless. Case and point, last episode saw somebody getting stabbed through the chest...by a unicorn. Not to mention the countless decapitations and zombie headshots with shotguns.
