Malaga's amazing summer spending spree shows no sign of stopping any time soon as Spanish international Santi Cazorla has arrived for €21 Million. So far, they have splashed out €60 Million on an array of talent...
Santi Cazorla Isco Sergio Sanchez Joaquin Jeremy Toulalan Joris Mathijsen Nacho Monreal Ruud van Nistelrooy Diego Buonanotte
Can they compete with Barca and Real? Almost certainly not, should make things interesting though.

On paper definitely- especially considering that they had already signed the likes of Baptista, Camacho and Sergio Asenjo last season. Most of the other sides in La Liga (Barca and Madrid aside, they basically have their own two team league) are in some sort of crisis, so Malaga in the Champions League next season is a distinct possibility.

Not sure really, does seem a slightly strange choice- but they're not the only club in Spain to be taken over. Getafe were bought by the Royal Emirates Group last year. They were also apparently on the verge of being renamed Team Dubai at one point. That ended up being rubbish and shenanigans. They are sponsored by Burger King though... www.footballshirtculture.com/11/12-kits/getafe-2011-12-joma-home-away-third-kits.htmlNice

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14366074.stmSo it would appear that Joey Barton is being allowed to leave Newcastle. And not just for a transfer fee, but for free. So yes, even though he has a year left on his contract, Newcastle are letting him go for nothing. Thats akin to a firing. What in the name of fudge? And I REALLY hope the rumours from a week or so ago that Ferguson was interested in him was rubbish because I really don't want to see him in Man Utd colours.

I predicted a few weeks ago that Newcastle would get relegated this season and I'm sticking by that......unless they bring in somebody huge.

It'll be nice seeing a Scottish team that isn't Celtic or Rangers playing an English team. It'll be a humping, but still a pleasant change.

If Redknapp plays a reserve/younger team, Hearts may have a chance.

I'd definitely be interested in the Fantasy League thing.
Gotta say my club (Newcastle) seem to be doing the absolute best they can to screw everything up, business as usual.
