This may sound stupid, but the older I get, the less fun I have blowing innocent people away in video games. I played GTA IV and didn't intentionally kill anyone outside of the missions. Same for me. I also never kill civilian women intentionally.

I occasionally kill people outside of the story, but mostly it's when people run me over then yell at me for it. Within the missions, if I have the option to spare someone I do so.

My main problem with the game was that, for all the advancement of the engine and graphics, the city still felt hollow spare a few places. It was worse there than something like Vice City cause the city was bigger, and you were driving more to go somewhere with something to do, missions excluded. Yea, I do agree. The city really was lacking in terms of fun things to do and there weren't a lot of buildings that you could go inside. Vice City had a whole freaking mall that you could run around in, including stores that you could enter. But really, that part didn't bother me too much when actually playing the missions. It's really just a problem when you're wanting to run around the city and mess around, which is admittedly what I usually spend the most time doing with a GTA game. This would explain why I actually played the missions of the game instead of just wander around blowing things up like I normally do in GTA games... I'd talk more but my cousin is bugging me about going bowling

I'll shoot civvies who run me down or assault me in any way, but nowt outside that. If I'm being pursued though, all bets are off.
