I've seen this movie more than every other movie I have ever watched. The one year I counted how many times I saw it that year was 8 times and I wouldn't be surprised if I had years where I watched it more.
Feel free to post some of your favorite quotes and discuss it in general. Or...

The only "Transformers" movie that's worth a damn Exactly, I watched the 2007 movie once and was done with it. Never bothered with the sequels.

Turbo revvin' young punk! I'll straighten you out yet! I have 3 different DVD releases of this movie (Rhino, Sony, and the Canadian one that comes with the Chinese G1 set) and they're all annoying for their flaws, though the 1.33:1 Sony disc is probably the best of them for having red Hot Rod and not going to video for the Junkion reel. I'd love to have a good Blu Ray with both the 1.33:1 and 1.85:1 aspect ratios, proper color timing, and both US and UK versions, but I imagine they'd probably f*** it up somehow. I wish I had jumped on that UK Blu Ray even though I didn't have a player at the time. I'd also love to have one of the Japanese laserdiscs but no way am I paying more than $20 for it. They both look really cool: My love for it grew even more when I watched Savage Streets and realized that Nothing's Gonna Stand in Our Way, a song that I always liked, came from that awesome (minus the rape scene) movie.

I'd really like to see some "special edition" of this movie. Something that doesn't add new stuff or anything, but just a version that fixes all the animation quacks that crop up now and then.

If the original is presented alongside it on Blu Ray I'd be fine with that, but if something like that replaced the original I'd be really pissed off, lol. Bah Weep Granah Weep Ninny Bong.

Even though I enjoyed Bayformers 1 & 3 slightly more than the original but the original Transformers animated film is pretty enjoyable

This brought the line I, and I'm sure alot of other Transformers fans, said when they saw the Bay movies. "This is bad comedy!" I'll never get tired of this movie and of the story in it. Even if it kills off two of my favorite characters of all time. Prime and Starscream. The series also picked up big time in quality after this movie.

It's probably one of the most sheerly enjoyable movies I know of. I've literally watched it twice in a row, at 84 minutes it breezes by so quickly and there's always something cool happening.

I agree, and I know at the time of it's release it was a flop and overall fans preferred the G.I. Joe movie to it but man, I couldn't disagree more. The Joe movie's okay but to me the Transformers movie is basically that series' manifesto. It's the climax to so many storylines and it was a game changer. Also you have to give them a world of credit for having the guts to kill Prime off. Even if it was, relatively speaking, short lived overall, that scene never fails to make me tear up.

Though I didn't see it until much later, it did give us a classic line by Spike...

Also, to me, "The Touch" by Stan Bush is the greatest song in the history of history.

My gramps(Mike Sekowsky) was a background and character designer for this film. There's your fun fact.

Is there any truth to the fact that Orson Welles apparently didn't care for voicing a "toy that eats other toys"?
