The problem is you can't really put the belt on a guy called 'Dolph Ziggler'. Casual fans and people who dip in and out will not be convinced or impressed by that. I agree his name is ridiculous. People will probably say it makes him stand out but it's still weird to me. Good wrestler though.

Dolph is easily one of the best in the company. I really hope he gets a main event push sometime soon.

He's a hell of a wrestler, but I think he's lacking the IT factor...be it the big time feel when he comes out or the overwhelming presence of Vicki. Being short wasn't a problem for the Miz, so Dolph will be fine.

He has it all. He really does.
Except a good name.
I'm sorry, I just can't get over that he has a "permanent midcard" name.
That said, I expect him to be a main eventer and a huge star anyway. And I expect I'll get over the name thing once he's on top. I'm sure of it.

I keep adding up the poll results, and they're always a 10...?

He reminds me of nobody so much as Bret Hart in the ring. And he has good mic skills on top of that.
Yeah, he's star material.

I just don't get the name thing ... names are weird sometimes, why does it matter? He IS Dolph Ziggler; he owns it, and he makes it work.

I thought he'd be midcard for life, then I saw his match against Orton on RAW back in August and it was superb. I see a real World title reign for him soon.

If the name is a big problem to the higher-ups, he can always just be referred to as "Ziggler" like Dave Batista became just "Batista."

He's really grown on me this year. I went from not caring at all to becoming a fan. He's really the total package.

Whenever I see Ziggler now I am reminded of Cena and Miz pre-JBL feud and MITB, respectfully. The man is READY, he he does not not have a WWE title run before the end of next year I will be shocked.

He's a really good wrestler but the way I see it right now he could do without Vickie Guerrero. I mean she isn't exactly doing much other than what she did with Edge but I think Dolph would be better of going solo as a face.

Nope, the dude still needs to show that he can garner heat without having Vickie stir up the crowd first.

I agree with most everything said already, but he does need to lose Vickie Guerrero and get heat by himself. It shouldn't be hard, considering his gimmick.
If they would push him and Swagger as a force to be reckoned with, you could kill two birds with one stone by hanging one of them turn on the other over a title - the US title would do for now.
