I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

That's basically all I want. Well that and he comes out to this. Isn't that Crush's Hawaiian surfer gimmick theme? It has some elements of it, very much slowed down

It's been built up so much that if Sid eventually does show up, it'll crash the boards.

No, that's an indictment on Sid not being a part of a major wrestling promotion in 12 years and a majority of the current fans being younger than that. And most of the young fans know what WWE shows, they're not going to spend hours on Youtube watching old stuff. Pretty much. Assuming the same level of hardcore interest from someone else in the same thing YOU have a hardcore interest in is the height of snobbery. They often wreck the show with ignorant indifference, and I find it sad to see performers that paved the way and influenced the guy's they actually like today ignored and treated like unimportant, unknown fossils. I don't think kids should get a free pass, just because. Why should we excuse laziness and ignorance? Respecting or knowing who someone is doesn’t negate that you are still there mostly to see John Cena. You call it snobbery, but I call it respectfully informed. I respected guy's like Bruno Sammartino as a kid --despite having no firsthand knowledge of him -- and wanted to learn WHY he was treated as so important and revered. I wasn’t so stupidly A.D.D. that I just sat there with a blank look on my face. I asked questions, I read magazines, I did what I could to at least understand. (I’d have killed for the ‘Net back then). And once I did? Holy shit, I wanted to know more. It broadened my appreciation for the wrestling business and its talent so much more. I'm not talking about expecting someone to know trivial statistics and dates. I'm just talking about knowing who say a Roddy Piper is; instead of reacting in bored indifference or asking your inept father "who the old guy in the dress is." I feel like you're defending and promoting ignorance as okay, when it never is. I don't think someone should be chastised publically for not knowing or caring, sure. But it doesn't change the fact that it IS sad. These guys deserve the respect for all they've given and done. It's the reason why we celebrate other things like Veterans Day or Memorial Day, etc. We respect and appreciate it, because it's laid the foundation; and without them, there is no today.

Sid better help Cena beat up Johnny Ace. I'd say the opposite would happen.

Wow, dude is in shape in his twitter profile pic. He has to be near 50? He's in shape, but he can't wrestle for s***. (Not that he ever could, but it's even worse now.) They're not going to ask him to go out there and put on a 20 minute match with Cena. IF he shows up it will be to wander out, fist bump some fans, power bomb Heath Slater, cut an unintelligible promo, and leave...and it will be awesome.

He can still do the power bomb, he can still do a choke slam. he's still capable of bunching his hand into a fist and bumping it against another fist. That's all he needs. Rambling promo optional.

It's the reason why we celebrate other things like Veterans Day or Memorial Day, etc. We respect and appreciate it, because it's laid the foundation; and without them, there is no today. I think you expect too much from the average person's interest. I'm a huge Green Bay Packers fan and I pride myself on knowing the history of the team. With a team like Green Bay, you take out a handful of players from 1920-1950, they might not exist. But if people don't know that, it doesn't illegitimize their love of the Packers. Maybe while it's my favorite thing, But it's like their tenth favorite thing. Why do they have to know who John Brockington or James Lofton is to like to watch Aaron Rodgers or Greg Jennings? And as far as wrecking the show with indifference...there's some truth to that, but it certainly can't be worse than the smarks chanting "Albert" at Tensai or "Goldberg" at Ryback to prove their fandom. Id rather the studio audience not laugh at the tapings of Becker than chant "Sam Ma-lone! *Clap clap clap- clap- clap*

okay either Goldberg or Ryback randomly destroying his car as he squashes Heath Slater would be hilarious.

HOLD ON A SECOND...Out of all the things you said, the only thing that is NOT an option is the awesome Rambling Promo. We MUST get one!
