...among the IWC? Anyone who was active in forums during James' heyday noticed she had a MAJOR cult following on almost any wrestling board on the net. Seeing all the AJ threads popping up, is it possible that AJ has reached that level of worship?

I postulated such in another AJ thread; I stand behind that.

The real test will occur when she starts getting the short end of the stick with booking. Might be a while because they aren't using her as a consistent in ring performer.

Fire her and see if anyone tries to blow up Titan Tower.

It has a lot to do with the fact that the storyline is actually entertaining, and that she is pulling her own weight through it (and driving some of it as well) to stand out as a performer. Plus she's attractive.

I don't mind it at all. I wish more women wrestlers would get a cult following.
And maybe, just maybe, it can spread to the rest of the fans, and women's wrestling would stop having the piss break stigma.
Of course, a new stigma would spring (ie: "women's wrestling fans are pervs"), but that's better than nobody caring.

We'll find out once she ask for donations via Kickstarter to fund her J-Pop album.

Not yet. The Mickle-love was crazy at one point; AJ doesn't really have any huge fans who talk about her every move like Mickie had, and she needs about three more threads per day until she catches up to Mickie.
I predicted this as soon as AJ debuted in FCW. Just wait until Paige starts gaining momentum...

if this turns into a 20 page flamefest of white knights VS Roast Beef Brigade, then yes.
Until then, it's not quite there.

It's getting there. Of course, then you need the backlash with fat jokes

Someone post a photo of Arby's, then it's ten straight pages of Hatfields and McCoys with things like this sprinkled somewhere in the middle.... "I've eaten at Arby's a few times back when I used to work in NWA. Cornette would go crazy if they forgot his curly fries. One time, he went so berserk, he accidentally sat on his tennis racket sunny side up. He spent one night in an ER while the RN had to remove splinters from his anus walls. He never got those curly fries."

I don't know, something seems to be missing from AJ's crazy repertoire. Hmmm.....

Like Mickie, AJ's reached the point where I instinctively ignore threads about her on here, because the sort of praise she gets really veers into creepily obsessive territory.

No, but i think she is headed that way, for the better. She could usher in a new era of non-pin up, non implanted and augmented women who actually have a passion for the business. Shes a breath of fresh air in a division filled with boobs and bad acting. Sure, shes no Cate Blanchett or Hilary Swank, but shes good enough for the wrestling business. Which is more than you can say for the entire divas division.

There've been flames about that in threads already. I think what I don't like about it has nothing to do with AJ and more to do with the internet-at-large. AJ wears shirts that say "NERD" or "METAL" and people eat that up, which bugs me since that's the equivalent of Jessica Chobot licking the PSP. But no one forces them to like her so it's not quite so much on her. What I don't like is that there are wrestlers who are actually bigger into things that are traditionally considered "nerdy" and nobody holds them to it. Shad Gaspard is a comics nut who draws and publishes his own work, but you never see anyone show any interest in him for it. Or Shelton Benjamin, who is an avowed gamer who dominated the old game competitions that WWE held for SvR with the wrestlers. But nope, never hear anything about that. Apparently it's only acceptable or interesting if AJ does it.
