They wanted to sign Samoa Joe a few years ago, but he turned them down. They ended up pushing Umaga as a Samoan Savage not long after that. Biggest mistake he ever made if that's true.

Jay Lethal is another guy I am surprised WWE never signed I mean they signed Creed and Lethal is a better wrestler and has more charisma than him imo The problem with Lethal is the greatest (imho (that means I Mate with Horny Octupi, right?)) thing he ever did was Black Machismo and I don't think he could ever have done it in the WWE. Before it might have been percieved as antagonistic and now possibly disrespectful.

To be fair, at the time he was in TNA, he was like, man, they're giving me this great push, I might be the next big star in this company. But then, the unthinkable happened around BFG 2006. Russo joined the company.

Sara Del Rey, Colt Cabana (after an entire crowd chanted his name, why not re-hire the guy?), El Generico, Chris Hero, Chuck Taylor, Robert Evans.

Joey Ryan. As long as they didn't mould him into a cheesey PG Val Venis he'd be amazing. For some reason I think he'd be awesome with the Zig (not that he needs anyone).
Generico would be nice but it'd be at the risk of possibly upsetting Spanish audiences (in the WWE's eyes, they want to please everyone at all times)
I'd also like to see Pac, if they could clear half of his moves, but we all know it's a pipe-dream.

Have Rey give him his approval, and have Hunico berate him as a "fake luchador". Instant feud. Change his name, change his mask. But the talent is there to pull it off.

Good call, you could even have heel Canadians berating him for ignoring his Canadian wrestling heritage.

They actually pursued Sapp not long ago, but they supposedly low-balled him. He makes so much money in Japan for appearances in various wrestling promotions, kickboxing, mma, and especially commercials.
For f***'s sake, he's even got a CD or two out in Japan.

Hiroshi Tanahashi. One of the biggest draws in Puro right now, great look, charismatic, and a great in-ring ability that translates very well into the "Showman" style wrestling WWE is known for. However, their lack of interest is understandable, as the probably feel they only need one Japanese guy (Yoshi) on the roster at any given time.
As for Samoa Joe, I seriously think his time passed a long while ago. His TNA run really just killed him, along with any interest they might of had. I never saw him as fitting in the WWE well to be honest.
