So how's about this?
Exhibition Match (winner faces Loading Rules at Gookermania) Mario Nett versus Marshall Wesley Coventry
PYP Michael Hayden versus Mystery Opponent
PYP Jonathan Michaels versus Mystery Opponent
PYP Ryan Blood versus Mystery Opponent
If there are no objections, then we're good to go. I think, just to ensure that Gookermania V goes off without as many hitches as possible, I'll actually put it up for vote nearly a week early so that writers can get a head start.

I'm pulling the Blood match due to the fact that there is a plan in place for it.

No guarantees, but I'll try to get Nett/MWC written. And I for sure will write the match against Square.

I'll assume I'm not in a PYP match, but if by some chance I am, please let me know via PM real quick.

Speaking of which, I would just like to remind whoever dares to write the Freakin' Awesome Invitational that contestants must pin/submit/KO each of their opponents in order to win a Freakin' Awesome rules match. It hasn't come up very often because most FA matches have been one-on-one bouts, but it is still there. It's gonna be a doozy to say the least.

Finally, are people burning out because of returning to college, the seven weeks of buildup prior to Gookermania, in general, or some combination? Doc Sivana once suggested we take a week off and I think that is worth reconsidering. What if we took the week after every supercard off so that we could approach each successive supercard with more vigor and energy? Would people be interested in that idea?

Here's a theoretical schedule based on the "week off after every supercard" idea for 2012.

Why do I have a bad feeling that that would just end up making us lazy and forget that we have upcoming shows?

I think in theory it's a good idea but I think we'll have to be mindful, like Gus said, of being a bit lazy, etc. I think with a big supercard like Gookermania though it's a very good idea. As for writing I can take the Connor/Superwarrior match. I could probably do commentary for at least one match this week as well but I'm anticipating it to be a fairly steady week hence why only commentary. Otherwise I'd take a full match. Also, The Sam if you have any preferences, ideas, spots, etc. that you would like to see in the match please PM me. I'm looking forward to writing the match but I want to make it as great as I can for all parties involved.

Going to be the most difficult match I've ever had to write but I'll give it a shot. Someone else will have to do commentary too. By the way to those who are in expect a PM from me.

I believe Hayden said he would write the Inter-Forum title match and I would provide the commentary for said match. He'd have to confirm it though.

I don't have a problem with skipping a week. Usually I take a week off sometimes because I just don't want to write a match every week. We have so many people in this e-fed and yet it's the same 5-6 people writing every match. I know we have the points thing as an incentive, but clearly it isn't really doing its job. We haven't had a lot of new writers since we implemented that have we?

We haven't had a lot of new writers since we implemented that have we? I think it's just a matter of people jumping in. I know myself I was really hesitant to start writing when I first came and it's certainly been a learning experience but I think if more folks get over some of the trepidation then it would be alright. Another thing I think would really be good is more collaboration on matches. If folks want spots or have ideas on things to do with a match I think they should really try to communicate it. Not only does it contribute but at the same time it can help a match writer in case they are a bit stuck on spots, etc. Something else that comes to mind, has anyone heard from Viva since his last update?
