Inspired by the HHH/Orton one.
They've had a few one off matches since Orton turned face, both were during the Nexus thing in 2010. But other than that staredown fail at the Rumble in 2011 they haven't really had anything to do with each other. Has it been long enough that it could be a big feud again or are we still a year or so away from that?
Would you prefer it if Orton was heel, or face?
It wouldn't have to be for a title, but it could really boost the WHC if they went that route. Say, Orton wins it down the line and Cena challenges for a few months since the split doesn't mean much.
Having them go all out with Super Orton instead of Heel Orton could be fun. Kind of like Batista/Cena in that they throw megaton bombs at each other and keep kicking out.

Face Orton vs. Heel Cena is the only way it could seem reasonably interesting. Pretty much this, but this is the case for a lot of potential feuds with Cena right now: only interesting if he's the heel. Otherwise...  |

Neither are terrible in the ring and I can't recall them having any terrible matches against each other. While I wouldn't particularly care to see another match between the two of them, it has been years since they last tangled one on one IIRC and they are on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to overused matchups. I agree. I always liked their matches. If they did again, I can't say I'd be excited, but it wouldn't bother me either. |

They are the closest thing we have to Stone Cold vs. The Rock.
Though the Bragging Rights 2009 match in that video was the best possible match they could ever have, and I don't think they could ever top it.

After their Bragging Rights 2009 match, there will never be a better Cena/Orton match. That was INSANE.
I could watch it. But truth be told, Orton isnt big enough right now for it to work, he has dropped down the card substantially over the last year.
