"It's all Cyclops's fault and Captain America is always right." (And I say this as a fan of Cap, even.) Not really, Cap is taking his share of the blame, it's more 'it's all Cyclops fault and Wolverine is always right.' Yeah, Cap's scene with Havok in Uncanny Avengers had him owning up to not standing up enough/not caring for mutants over the years. And I thought the last page of UA was one of the most glorious and insanely over-the-top things I've seen in awhile.

Bleh. I abandoned ship after One More Day ( though I did stop in for Amazing #600 and a few issues after that featuring MJ and Black Cat before bailing when they did), and may pick up #700 on principle, but I haven't looked back really. Even with Slott who I know is good, the art to me has been so spotty to terrible when I've flipped through an issue I just don't care. Pretty much for me it means Marvel NOW won't be gettin' any more of my $ for the foreseeable future. Same here, which is a damn shame. I was all set to get back into modern comics once Bendis left the Avengers, but it doesn't look like a single Avengers title is worth getting.

I actually liked Uncanny Avengers a fair amount more than I figured I would.

As if you didn't need enough incentive to pick up Young Avengers #1 in January...

Also, Avengers 31 this week - Wonder Man turns up telling Cap he was sorry and feels like he is having a breakdown and wants some help while a woman with short hair is sending an Avengers Priority signal from inner space. In the worst kept secret in Marvel it appears to be {Spoiler} Janet van Dyne, The Wasp But it could equally be so obvious that it wont be, but it does make sense that it is being that it seems to be Bendis putting the toys back in the box ready for Hickman.

I'm assuming he is trolling.
It just doesnt sound right, and more like he is playing on the constant internet complaints that Wolverine is everywhere.
Granted if I'm wrong and Spider-Man in 616 stops being Peter, then just like when they made him Ben Riley, the book will be dropped. Spider-Man is Peter Parker. Try and give me anyone else, and I dont care how good a writer you are, I dont want to read that.

1st) Batman #13..........wow 2nd) Scott Snyder & Jim Lee on a new Superman title *Side note* Does anyone els hear the "Batman:TAS" voices whenever they read a Batman comic. I can't read Joker without hearing Mark Hamill in my head

I enjoyed Batman 13......but I cant help but think it was going a bit far. Frankly, it became a bit uncomfortable to read. I never think comics should be that, they should be thought provoking and they should be emotion generating, but that one got to uncomfortable pretty fast with the whole Joker/Harley thing.
I didnt care much about Alfred, so maybe it was just that Harley is a woman, but it just felt....wrong to me the way he was talking to her and getting her to do and then what he appears to have done.
It appears to be a great looking classic Joker story though, even though I really dislike the whole face off look to him, it does fit the story Snyder seems to want to tell.

I loved that part, Joker's gone beyond insane. {Spoiler}The police station segment creeped me the f*** out

Yeah, it was great, really really great, all the way up to his chat with Harley. That just made me feel really uncomfortable.
A little bit of a line too far for me.

What's with Marvel/DC comics taking things a tad bit too far lately?

I can't read Joker without hearing Mark Hamill in my head I defy anyone to NOT hear Kevin Conroy when they read Batman. I actually make a point of giving every character in every book I read a specific voice. if they had a voice in a cartoon it's easy, but if not, you'd be surprised at some of the combinations I end up with.
