I did play the first ME when I had my 360, pretty damn good, but incredibly short. How short? How about to the tune of having a save file where I literally did everything in the game(including both of the DLC add-ons) and it lasted only 17 hours? And I'm sure 10 of those hours were on an elevator.

Been finding info about ME3 online and wow,Jack has only a cameo role in the game? Very disapointing, looks like they have got rid of the second games crew and added just the one new playable character, from what iv read anyway. Was lookin forward to this game but now..not so much.

Big thing I'm looking forward to is what Jack has been up to. I <3 Jack. By the time my ME3: CE gets here tomorrow, I should have my Paragon Soldier done and ready to kick Reaper ass. you might be disappointed. from what I understand, the team from ME2 are still there, but you don't get to use any of them except for Garrus and Tali. And they are from ME1, so basically the new squad mates from ME3 aside, you'll be using your surviving squad mates from ME1. Which, for you PS3 only guys who never played ME1, kinda sucks, as you won't have any real emotional attachment to any of them except for Garrus and Tali.

Jack... cameo... not part of squad...
(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
Now I feel sorry for anyone who romanced a member of ME2's squad.

Liara has an attachment for PS3 users as well, since they have played Lair of the Shadow Broker.

I'm just pissed you don't get a full-time Krogan. Those guys are my favorite race. Vega is supposed to be this game's replacement (based off his stats)... but... no... Hopefully the DLC character (you know who, and if not, you'll find out) is a decent character. I REALLY hope later DLC pulls a Kasumi/Zaeed and gives you a decent squad character...

Liara has an attachment for PS3 users as well, since they have played Lair of the Shadow Broker. True, and you at least got to meet the 100% pure awesome that is Wrex. Actually thinking about it, if you don't kill Wrex in the Genesis comic in the PS3 version, you'll meet all but 1 member of the ME1 team in ME2. You'll get to actually fight along side 3 of them, and talk rather extensively with another. It is just your surviving human teammate that you don't have a chance to grow attached to, and they are, regardless of what you say, a total douche to you in ME2. Then again, truth be told, outside of liking them as overall characters/using them when absolutely forced to(like on the loyalty missions), I didn't really use the ME2 new team members all that much. My main rotation of teammates were Garrus, Tali, Legion, Thane, and the lovely kleptomaniac Japanese girl adorning my avatar and sig. And that's because these 5 all served purposes I couldn't. As a Vanguard, Garrus' Overload and Concussive Shot and Thane's Warp were ammo savers against enemies with barriers and shields, Tali and Legion made doing any mission with Mech or Geth enemies incredibly easy thanks to their AI hacking, and Kasumi, well, I just loved her Shadow Strike. I probably could've worked Grunt's bullet sponging self into my rotation more, true, but as Vanguard, thus the up close and personal specialist, he was essentially worthless to me aside from being a bullet sponge. So while the team was WAY bigger in ME2, I only actually used roughly the same amount of people in ME2 that I did in ME1. The rest of the team were good characters, but, for me, horrible teammates in the actual gameplay, or already had their role taken up. For crying out loud, there are 5 teammates in ME2 that are Biotics! By being a Biotic myself, I didn't need to us all of them. I just needed someone that could do Warp(as I could do Shockwave and Pull in addition to my Charge), and considering Thane could use a sniper rifle, that made him my go to Biotic once I got him on my team. That may make me look like a hypocrite using only one of the 5 Biotics when I used all three of the Tech based teammates, but that's the thing, I rarely used them in tandem(in fact the only times I even had two of the Tech based ones in my squad at the same time were Legion's loyalty mission, the the last two parts of the raid on the Collector Base, I partnered Tali with Legion on his loyalty mission because I thought it was most fitting, and then did this team again in the middle part of the CB raid as their drones could go through the Biotic dome, and then I did Tali and Kasumi at the end, because they were the two weakest members of my team still by my side as I had sent Mordin.....who I just remembered was another Tech based teammate, as the escort back to the ship), instead I would usually pick one of the three of them and partner them with Thane or Garrus.

I did have the standard 360 version pre-ordered on Amazon for like a year. Then I decided last week I wanted the collectors edition. Of course about every place is sold out of the 360 version of that. I did find it though, although I doubt I'll get it tomorrow. Of course I also have MLB 12 for both PS3 and Vita coming tomorrow, so I'll be alright.

That shouldn't be a problem because with my Renegade Steve Austin Shepard, only Garrus, Tali and Miranda survived. Garrus and Tali are my favorite characters and Miranda only survived because my efforts in killing her failed.

Through both my first playthroughs of the first two games I made mistakes and didn't do them over even if I was pissed off. Its given me a realistic playthrough so far littered with regrets.
I've lost Wrex to my indecisiveness, Ashley purely because she offed Wrex, Tali because I sided with Legion in their fight and then tried to make it up to her by making her my tech specialist in the suicide mission (doh), Thane because for some reason I initially thought he'd make a good fire team leader (double doh) and Miranda cause of siding with Jack in their fight. Really pissed that Wrex and Tali wont be in my first playthrough of 3, but I've got to honor my decisions!
It will also makes my second playthough a bit different as Kaidan is the only squad member I've lost in the two games on that playthrough. And that's cool.
That twitter feed is pretty cool, but I'm getting all kinds of 'Coming to America' vibes off that Prothean leaked voice recording!

Oh man, stay safe out there. That is badass though. I loved how when they premiered the newest trailer during The Walking Dead, they replaced Rick with Shepard and had the Reaper blowing up Herschel's house.

So I was going to get this on Sunday so I could play uninterupted but I think I'll have to get it on Saturday and play it all day until I have to go to work. (And then all night, of course.) It's driving me crazy! And I know that as soon as it comes out I'll have to avoid gaming websites like the plague. A buddy of mine was saying to me that apparently the devs have recommended that you should make an effort to do the co-op missions prior to beating the game because -- and it's not that big of a deal really but spoiler'd just in case -- {Spoiler}the co-op characters will fight alongside you in the final battle, so the higher level they are, the stronger and more useful they'll be. Whereas if you never touched co-op... well... Anyone got any idea if that's true or not? Additionally, will anyone be up for some co-op with me shortly after release? ;D

I am so looking forward to this game. I've been playing through ME2 this week preparing my character for the next game.
But it sucks that I have a couple of Uni things due before I get to play it this week.
Mordin FTW!

Even the achievements with multiplayer prereqs have ways of doing them in single player. Basically, if you don't do multiplayer, you can accomplish the same things in singleplayer by just doing the side quests.

I didn't romance Ashley in the first game but I romanced Miranda in 2.
Hopefully I can romance Ashley in 3
