It is valid to say that 'If HHH said it...' but that's because of how ridiculous people are about HHH. Really though, nobody cares and nobody who hears Punk said that will think any less of The Miz than they did previously.
As for the TNA thing. I have fairly large doubts that Punk spends his limited free time watching TNA.

The guy who lost 100,000 viewers in the MAIN EVENT of Raw should not be talking about people not caring if The Miz is gone.

Very sad to hear him trash JTG like that. Way to fight, erm, the man, I guess.
Miz comments are just plain unprofessional.

I suppose if you wanted to slate him for one thing, it's that he's now apparently a lot less pissed off than he was this time a year ago. This is despite the fact that the only real major change in that time period is that he's WWE champion and makes a lot more money.

Comments about Miz aren't specifically anything, but still not needed. I love Punk and I well know his whole ''asshole'' deal, but you gotta stop at the point he starts to direct it towards other workers. I'm not saying he ''buried'' him with his comments, but it seems to me like we might see more of this in the future.

I'm sure I saw the Brock Lesnar Taunt guy do the Sheamus taunt after his victory against Daniel Bryan in the street fight match.

Every time Punk opens his mouth, my dislike for him grows, it's an amazing thing really. What he said about The Miz is ridiculousness, if HHH would have said it this board would have blown up, but it's just "Punk being Punk". Ugh That's precisely how I feel about this.

I give him another 20 years. Every well known wrestler claims they will retire before 40. Very little has and the ones who has did it because of injuries.

I wouldn't worry about Punk retiring. I think he's in constant negotiation mode at this point. He worked his whole career to finally get to this point, I don't see him just walking away now. Yup, when you don't have another company to leverage against, the smarter guys will use retirement and other hobbies as leverage.

I'd actually be 150% okay with Punk's "soon" retirement... as long as he became a commentator. It's actually what made me a fan of him in the first place because before he did it I honestly couldn't stand him.

I would feel sorry for him if his injuries force him to retire early after fighting to get to the top all his career in WWE. In an ideal world and if I was him I would want to stay on top for at least another 3 to 5 years. Cementing a legacy pretty much, keeping in mind how long Cena has been doing it for without any signs of retirement (yeah they are different people but Cena has done about 6(?) years on top no problem) and retire in ring. Have a year off, then return as a full time commentator.

He made a joke about Miz. A pretty harmless one at that. I'm sure they're friends and I'm sure Miz doesn't care.

I remember a ton of pictures from this forum's very own Pics/Gifs threads of years past that showed the two of them hanging out together along with Kofi, Bourne, and Morrison.

Yep, I feel the same. I love his matches and his onscreen character, but he's a huge asshole outside of that. I also agree with those who said it's bullshit what he said about JTG and the "indy" organizations. How "punk" of him.
