This thread title made me laugh pretty hard for some reason. I think it was one of those plaintive "wow.....he's right!" kind of laughs. I think criticizing fans for wanting Brock to take out HBK and still wanting him to win is pretty silly. What, are we only supposed to want WWE to do formulaic things? formulaic things become formulaic because they make sense. I like when things make sense

Lesnar will kill HBK and HHH, and loose to Taker, Taker being the last outlaw and yada yada, and Brock the outisiders that doesn't give a shit about the business.
before yesterday I thought Trips was going to win, but now I'm convinced he's gonna loose.

Trips losing would be a perfect setup for Taker,
If HHH cant get it done, call in the last guy to beat him.

It depends how they want to book Lesnar. If they want to make money and build Brock up as an unstoppable monster? Let Brock win. If they want to prove that Triple H is still one of the biggest monsters in the WWE. Let Triple H win They would be better off making Brock win this fight. After losing to Cena he should beat Triple H. It makes no sense to have him lose to Cena AND Triple H. No one wants to see that crap. But the same could be said for Triple H, who already lost the one other match he wrestled this year. He's a special attraction, too, and who would want to pay to see him when all he's going to be doing is losing? And now we have a scenario where Lesnar has just destroyed HHH's best friend. It would make him look weak if he weren't able to get revenge, but it'd also make Lesnar look weak if he lost two matches in a row. I don't think Triple H vs. Lesnar was the right decision to make with SummerSlam. Both are guys who need to be protected in the future.

I don't really give a damn in terms of business sense. All I know is that in terms of enjoying the show, I want Triple H to win.

They've booked this feud so that either guy losing would be a terrible mistake. You have to almost admire it.

Brock should win, destroy Triple H, and then Triple H can return the conquering hero down the line and beat Brock. Honestly, that's a better story than 'Brock loses his second match in eight years.'

Yeah I mean why in the hell would a heel get over on the face constantly then just beat him clean as a sheet in their match, thus proving him right? That's just unprecedentedly bad booking! Oh, wait. I agree that given Trips has lost his only other match this year another loss after last night's shenanigans would probably make him look bad. That being said I really don't think it'll hurt things in the long run if he loses (I can't imagine fans not popping for him just because he dared to lose two matches in a row). So, if anything really would ever warrant the scenario above happening again, I feel like this is it. Brock should win Sunday if they intend to have any sort of return on this $5 Million investment, as he stands to lose a lot more than HHH in losing this match in terms of credibility.

Brock needs to win. Cena in his prime had to use weapons to beat him.
Bar the boring drama club production that was HHH vs. Taker at Mania happening with Brock, HHH should get waffled.

I still say Shawn throws in the towel to cost Hunter the match. Either Brock is beating him senseless, or he snaps his arm and won't let go

I'm happy with either way. I think people who say that a specific result SHOULD happen are just setting themselves up to be pissed off. If you have a definite idea in your head off what you want to happen then it's going cloud your view of what DOES happen. Better to just let it happen and see how it goes.
John Cena vs Brock Lesnar is a good example of this problem. So many people decided Brock simply had to win. When he didn't they ignored the fact that he still looked like a beast and just acted as if he jobbed out in a 30 second squash.
Wrestling is more fun without arm chair booking.

As soon as HBK said he'd be in Hunter's corner, I assumed the finish was gonna involve him throwing in the towel. It's the best possible finish, it protects Hunter while still making Brock look like an absolute beast.

HHH is going to win. He shouldn't, but he will.

They're sacrificing HBK just so HHH wouldn't sell Lesnar as a badass, even Cena did it but now suddenly HHH can't? I will always be a huge fan of Shawn but this shit needs to stop, they're making him look like a sidekick when it's the other way around. If HHH wants to wrestle again, let him build the match himself, and not call Michaels to hold his hand in every feud. They booked him to look like a scared legend just so HHH can save the "little poor guy", on top of that, Lesnar runs away from HHH, Brock Lesnar, runs away like some random pro wrestling heel. Horrible program. It was obvious from the brawl on RAW 1000 that this is not going to work because HHH is not willing to sell for Brock. Now HHH is going to win at Summerslam as a hero to get revenge for his friend and this storyline, along with Lesnar's entire run is a huge waste.

I'm calling Brock to destroy HHHunter, possibly lose via DQ due to brutality, then beat up on HBK some more if HBK is at ringside.
Then, BONG!
Undertaker to make the save, perhaps Heyman eats a Tombstone.
Lesnar/Undertaker is the big selling hook for Survivor Series, as with Rock involved at WM, I'm suggesting that whomever isn't facing him out of Cena/Punk would get Brock there.
