It sure is a popular acronym for wrestling promotions Even more than UWF, which is saying something. Reply yeah UWF is a tricky one too because at least two UWFs made it fairly big so it is easy to mistake one for another when talking to other fans about it. Like the sentence, "UWF could have been a good alternative." That sentence could refer to at least two of the UWFs

Not exactly a match, but I was surprised to see all of these guys in the ring together in a brawl...
Jerry Lawler, Terry Taylor & Steve Keirn vs. Kamala, Bobby Eaton & Koko Ware.
Good ol' Memphis.

Very interesting thread!
Edge/Undertaker had a match on Smackdown in 2000. For the longest time, I thought their first match was at WM24 for the WHC. Similarly, Goldust and Jericho had a forgotten match on Raw in 2002, and then they had the 2010 Superstars match...while Jericho was WHC!
How about Bret and Lex Luger vs. Bulldog and Jim Neidhart on WCW Thunder? We never got to see the Hart Foundation split, and that was the closest thing to it. Speaking of Bret and Thunder, he appeared in some battle royal they had many months after had the concussion.
William Regal vs. British Bulldog in WCW...and then 13 some odd years later, William Regal fought his son, Harry Smith, on Superstars.
As far as Daniel Bryan goes, he caught the tail end of Batista's career, and only a few months later became one of Edge's last brand new opponents. Both on Raw.
Undertaker facing Kane....as Issac Yankem. They even did the dramatic staredown that they later went on to make iconic between the two kayfabe brothers.
Mr. Perfect's whole comeback produced its own share of moments and matches. He Perfect Plex'd Kurt freakin' Angle at the Royal Rumble! He and Stone Cold even had a match on Raw. He also had matches against RVD, Taz, and the Hardyz. R-Truth later beat him in TNA.
JBL and HHH finally had a match on Raw. JBL was synonymous with being the SD main event guy, and HHH was the Raw main event guy.
CM Punk tag teamed with both Ric Flair and Chris Benoit on ECW. Benoit died only a few weeks later, and Flair was on his way out with the retirement angle.
Here's one...Zack Ryder vs The Undertaker! Weird. There was also a cage match with Flair & Shawn Michaels vs Edge/Ryder/Hawkins over on Smackdown.

Someone mentioned this in another thread so I had to look it up: Tiger Shark vs. Vader.
Also, it is weird because Vader looks wicked out of shape here, but he looked good against Heath Slater. It is weird because the matches only took place a few months apart.
