I wish they would hurry up and start making the big screen adaptation. If they are going for a hard R rating, this will be something to see. I'm sure they will be able to do IT justice, but anybody other than Tim Curry as Pennywise just won't live up to the role.

License to print money right there.

About the Ron Howard DT adaptation, it is dead in the water. Sux. Last I heard about the It adaptation, it was in development, so who knows.

Tim Curry in clown make-up is nightmare fuel to the Nth degree. I have seen ice cream cones more frightening than Tim Curry. Didn't understand what the "horror" component of this was. I didn't find any of it horrifying.

Wasn't It a female in the book? I remember them crushing the eggs...and yeah that turtle that is the opposite of everything that It was...extremely weird book. I don't remember the gangbang part, but it's always wonderful to hear about that stuff later. Ugh.

The creature from the Dark Tower that resembles Pennywise is Dandelo...He is heavily believed to be of the same breed

It does happen, and does get more detail than it should, but it's also how some people attempt to cope with trauma. As for It, I don't think it's really any one gender. It's pretty much a demigod.
