Since the simpsons is clearly the majority of the board members favourite show, I'm curious what the first episode you saw was, if you can even remember. Sadly for me i can't, but the show has been on the air for as long as i've been alive, so i know it was one of the classics i saw first

I think the Marvin Monroe episode where they shocked each other.

I can't say with absolute certainty it was the first, but it was the first that I remember.
"Marge Be Not Proud", still one of my favorites to this day.

I used to watch them on the Tracy Ullman show right before going to bed.

I believe it was the one in which they had a "baby talk" translator for Maggie.

I don't remember, but when I first started watching I got a Family Matters vibe from Bart and assumed he was a neighbor since he always referred to Homer as Homer instead of dad and was always pissing him off.

My first one I can remember watching is the Rear Window spoof/the one where Bart breaks his leg and can't swim in the new pool.

The first episode, the X-Mas episode. It's hard to overstate just how potent "I'm Bart Simpson, who the hell are you?" was to kids back then. From 4th grade through college, I didn't miss a single episode.

Call of the Simpsons (#7G09) 18 Feb 1990.
It's a camping misadventure for the Simpsons. First, the Simpsons get lost in the woods and lose all their camping equipment. Then, Bart and Homer go get help, but get washed down a waterfall, and lose all their clothes. Meanwhile, Maggie meets up with some bears. Then, Homer is mistaken for Bigfoot.

Bart the General. However, i couldnt see it on a regular basis due to FOX not being carried in our area, so i had to make do with watching it at my grandmother's house.
