So that gif means Sony and Microsoft were crap, Nintendo started well and put up a fight but still screwed up so Ubisoft won by default? Anyway that was an underwhelming E3, I'm sure I'll enjoy some of those games but there doesn't appear to to be much to get excited about (other than the potential of the WiiU which I don't think was fully shown by the examples). I suppose those days are over as there's unlikely to be anymore huge leaps in technology for a while. It means Sony and Microsoft were crap. Nintendo put up a fight but was still crap. and Ubisoft was just status quo until Watchdogs.

Maybe it's because I'm not a hopeless cynic like most internet gamers seem to be, but I thought that was the best E3 in years. Lot of stuff I'm looking forward to was shown on the floor and there were even a few nice surprises I didn't expect to like.

3DS is a no go for me i played my Brothers for a while and felt nauseous after playing it (the 3D effect was only half full). Shame as there is some games i'd be interested in playing. 3D in general makes me feel nauseous i can't sit in a cinema and watch a 3D movie for example. i tried to watch Avatar but threw up about 1/3 into the film . Sony have given me no reason to invest in a PS Vita coming off this E3. you know, you can still play these games whitout 3d

I guess on one hand it was probably the best E3 Ubisoft has ever had. On the other hand, the Wii U doesn't look that impressive yet and there were barely any new IPs announced. It was basically just sequels this year. And a lot of the sequels look really meh, especially most of the FPS sequels. I guess that just means that even I am starting to get tired of FPS games getting the majority of the hype/media coverage.

It was one of the few FPS sequels to not look meh to me. Now the Infinity Ward CoD games.......well let's just say I'm buying Battlefield on those years. It was just sad how the theme this year for FPS sequels for the most part seemed to be improve the graphics but not the gameplay. And Crytek, adding a f***ing bow is not improving the gameplay for Crysis.

Wasn't an E3 like 05 or 06 either (reveal of this gen's systems, first God of War, Halo 2 etc.). As for FPS', I'm pretty much done as well. Passing on MOH, passing on the Tom Clancy games, passing on that Black Ops or Special Ops or whatever the f*** that game was, etc. I would buy Black Ops 2 but only months after it was out if I heard that the solo player was awesome. Crysis and Far Cry looked real good, but I never played the first two, so I don't think I'd buy them. However, the new Hitman looked great (to me at least), and of course The Last of Us and Watch Dogs have me foaming at the mouth.

I don't like FPS at all i avoid them the plague. Though i enjoyed Borderlands (i borrowed my Brothers Borderlands game) but that was more for the way the game looked.

Game Informer just gave their Best of Show to Gears of War: Judgment. Geez, shocking.

I'd have to say after careful thought, that Watch Dogs was my game of the show.

After consideration, yeah...that's what I'm going with. It came out of freakin' nowhere. Like, holy crap. And it's doing to a saturated genre what it needs. So yeah, Watch Dogs for me as well. Also this news just came out. You know the EPIC footage of the upcoming Star Wars 1313. Well, they used the Unreal Engine THREE on it. Not the UR Engine FOUR. That's f***ing CRAZY! www.product-reviews.net/2012/06/07/star-wars-1313-gameplay-shocks-on-unreal-engine-3-not-4/

I still say my Game of the Show is Assassin's Creed III.
However, my Best New IP is definitely Watch Dogs.
You know, I think I should do an article for FAN over the reader's Best of E3 awards, like how I do for the end of the year awards.
You guys think I should? Most other sites do their Best of E3 awards. So why the hell not?

Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed III and The Last of Us are my Games of E3. All three are release day purchases for me.

Did anything ever come from all the Lucasarts Console MMO news in the last month? I found a couple stories that talk about 1313 and an additional unannounced game that had space for WiiU and Kinect stuff.

Wii U has missed or confused the target audience that Nintendo has been courting for years. Most mainstream outlets (CNN for example) think that the Wii U is a new controller for the Wii, not a completely new system.
