ITT I learned we're not getting another Suikoden... that makes me a sad panda. There was a PSP game released in February in Japan, but it follows in the footsteps of Tierkreis and is a seeming attempt to turn Suikoden into more of a Final Fantasy-lite. It has no ties to the main series we know and love, and is apparently a pretty mediocre game in its own right. And naturally shows no signs whatsoever of leaving Japan, to boot.

But Pyramid Head is unique to James since James based his look on the picture of the old town executioners that he saw in the Historical Sociiety during his previous visit with Mary. The other protagonists that see him, Alex in Homecoming and Rose in the movie, should have no idea that the executioners even existed, let alone what they looked like. Silent Hil manifesting "punishers" in other forms, like the aforemntioned Butcher and Boogeyman, is reasonable but Pyramid Head makes no sense to anyone other than James. *looks at his post* *looks at the above post* *looks back at his post* That's what I said! Also, Rose had nothing to with Pyramid Head in the movie. Dahlia was the one who summoned him, to punish the members of the cult. Um...yeah. But where are you getting that Dahlia summoned Pryamid Head? I don't recall anything in the movie that supports that. If anything, it leans toward him being summoned by Alessa. And according to Christophe Gans and Patrick Tatopoulos he's a symbol of the town itself.

I distinctly remember a part of the film where Dahlia said something about vengeance and then pointed at some of the cultists and Pyramid Head appeared.

As much as I loved part 2, part 3 was really well done and I think may be the best of the three.
Some of the imagery was really quite awesome.
