I'd agree with Wyoming.
Strangely I think Ohio is fairly well known for being the least notable. Alabama might get a mention in relation to in-breeding. Others at least have some well known pop-culture connotation or are famous for fried chicken.

I can vouch for Kentucky was well. Did you know that they have the only underground zip line tour in the world?
I do. And now so do you

I'd say Wyoming as well. Runners up include Montana, North Dakota, and my home state of Kansas. Besides KC and Lawrence this place is a wasteland.

Nebraska. Outside of Omaha, the state is corn and nothing else.

We're in Delaware... First thing I thought of. Nevermind the fact that it's basically an extension of Philly. Delaware gives us Dogfish Head beer, which you could easily make a case for being the absolute no-hyperbole single best beer in the world today. They get a pass.

Wyoming is also home to some absolutely incredible dude ranches. All that "nothing" is actually some beautiful countryside where some of the best horseback riding you can have in the states takes place.

Wyoming > Delaware. Wyoming has bison, and Yellowstone, ski resorts, and ranches. Delaware has beaches and every other state has better beaches.

Montana has Big Sky Brewery which is better than overrated Dogfish head.

Nebraska. Outside of Omaha, the state is corn and nothing else. Have fun starving. Those "boring" states (nebraska, iowa, kansas etc...) are kinda important if you like to eat food and stuff. So saying they are Useless doesn't really factor even sarcastically. Delaware however... I'm trying to think of something they do that can't be replaced by something else ;D

Wyoming, in fact the name itself is an old Italian word meaning "no state here". It turns out that Americo Vespucci predicted how the United States would turn out, but had a blank space for Wyoming. So, yes, Wyoming does mean "No State Here". Second goes to what Scott Adams referred to as "the Godforsaken Hellhole Known as North Dakota". Does Utah have anything besides the Jazz? Mormons. A really big, salty lake.

I hate to put down a place I've never been to and I still have to see a lot of the country. So far I've only really been to...
Massachusetts (lived there) California (lived there) New York (lived there) New Jersey New Hampshire Connecticut Vermont Maine Rhode Island Georgia (if you count extended layovers) Nevada (if you count extended layovers)
Out of those I though Maine was probably the worst just because it is so goddamn boring up there. It probably helps if your into nature and are more a country person, but I'm definitely a city person.

The following states get a pass from me:
Wyoming (natural beauty, an insane tourist industry thanks to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone) South Dakota (Mount Rushmore, lots of natural scenic beauty, and Sioux Falls is one of the most livable cities in the US and even has the largest mall between Denver and Minneapolis) Kentucky (Louisville has too much going on for the state to be forgotten about, plus KFC is pretty big, I hear) Montana (Despite the small population density, it seems like one of the most beautiful states in the US)
If I had to pick the most forgettable, my nominees would be:
Delaware (good beer or not, it's just a 'pass-over' state, in that people from Philly pass through it to get to other states. Also, Newark is pretty bad from what I hear) New Hampshire (whereas Vermont is known for maple syrup, skiing, and Ben & Jerrys, NH is just kinda 'there') North Dakota (aside from Fargo, the rest of the state looks brutal and unlivable, not to mention boring with very little to offer) Mississippi (the poorest and least literate state should AT LEAST have something going for it. instead, it's basically made up of dirty delta banks, an empty capital city, and a poor man's Atlantic City (Biloxi))

I've been once and it was pretty depressing. No offense to anyone from Mississippi, of course.

I've always said that we should merge the Dakotas and split California into NorCal and SoCal. Either that, or take over Canada and call Even Norther Dakota.
