I'd agree with Wyoming. Strangely I think Ohio is fairly well known for being the least notable. Alabama might get a mention in relation to in-breeding. Others at least have some well known pop-culture connotation or are famous for fried chicken. For one example, Ohio houses the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Ohio is an awesome state. I wish it got more respect.

They should move Mount Rushmore and Devil's Tower to cooler states, thus eliminating the need for their respective states.

We're in Delaware... First thing I thought of. Nevermind the fact that it's basically an extension of Philly. Only partway - you get south of Wilmington/Newark/New Castle (all at the northern tip of the state), it turns into no-mans land.

Delaware, the home of the Briscoes, Wilmington and a screen door factory.

I had to travel through Wyoming once, most boring five hours of my life.

Only partway - you get south of Wilmington/Newark/New Castle (all at the northern tip of the state), it turns into no-mans land. As someone who lives in that New Castle and went to school in Newark, it's more like there is jack s*** around Dover, a fair beach in Rehobeth, and ultraviolence wrestling and meth down south. That said, I loved, absolutely loved college. Newark's Main Street has at least six awesome bars: an old school pub, two irish themed places, a hipsters bar, a new orleans style dive, and whatever the hell Klondike Kate's is. I can go there now and go to an indian buffet, three different sliders/hot dog places, a Coldstone, a cheapass movie theatre, the best comic book store around Captain Blue Hen, a gaming store, two sushi places, two completely different taco places, a vietnamese sit down restaurant, an ihop, two record stores, an awesome vietnamese sub place, and a ton of other places. Essentially all on one street. At UofD, I had the opportunity to study theatre in London. I've taken classes on fetishes in fiction, cyborgs, greek tragedy, film noir, cartoons, and a s*** ton of victorian classes. At Memorial Hall, I've done over 50 hours of reading Shakespeare. I freaking loved that place. And Raven is an alumnus.

I would have to guess Mississippi. It would be fascinating going there, like going to a third world country.

I hate to put down a place I've never been to and I still have to see a lot of the country. So far I've only really been to... Massachusetts (lived there) California (lived there) New York (lived there) New Jersey New Hampshire Connecticut Vermont Maine Rhode Island Georgia (if you count extended layovers) Nevada (if you count extended layovers) Out of those I though Maine was probably the worst just because it is so goddamn boring up there. It probably helps if your into nature and are more a country person, but I'm definitely a city person. Ah, screw you. Seriously, though, I was going to say Maine, it's apparently so bad here, you can bring your terror suspects to Maine airports and they aren't in the US. I still don't get how that works.

I have nothing to add except the fact that Delaware has no sales tax, so it was always a good place to get cheap smokes when I lived in Philly. And delaware gave us the Briscoe Brothers, so I have to give them that.
Also, I am so happy at how many people have used the Garfield "Wyoming doesn't exist" joke. I've been quoting that since I was 10 years old, and no one has EVER gotten it.

Hell, I'm more bored in some parts of Florida. There is the beach....then nothing. It's just a warm, open air prison.

We have much cooler stuff than some of that: The Columbus Museum of Art The Cleveland Museum of Art The Wexner Center in Columbus MidPoint Music Festival, an awesome, young fest in Cinci All the things around Ohio State campus, including tons of fantastic restaurants, venues, and stores Some quality breweries (Great Lakes, Columbus Brewing Company, etc.) All the main food chains you could want (Since I live in NM now, a drought of Chipotle is always on my mind) Decent people and navigatable cities The birth state of Randy Savage Other shit I am forgetting

I'm pretty sure Rhode Island is the one state people always forget when naming them.

No real reason apart from the fact Electric Six's song Escape From Ohio makes me not think that positively or negatively of it. /clueless UK poster
