Did this really anger you so much that you had to take a picture?

Hey, if nobody's sitting there.. why not use it as a coffee table? If you refuse to remove it when people want to sit down, yeah.. that's douchey. Otherwise... it's just convenience.

Maybe she's just setting it there for a second? Perhaps she'd move it when someone else came to wait for the bus?

How do you know it is her cup? Maybe it was left behind by the last d-bag who sat there.

Again, if you wanted to sit, did you try... simply asking her to remove it?

Were you even catching the bus and needed a seat, or were you just passing by?

Do you normally take pictures of random people on the street?

Do you normally take pictures of random people on the street? Why is that like....Illegal or something? Because uh....I might need to wipe my hard drive soon.

What a loser. Everyone knows if you don't want people to sit next to you on the bus you have to spill a bit of your drink on the seat. Not just place your cup. People can ask you to move the cup. They wont want to get an ass load of pop.

When I was an undergraduate, there was a girl who got on the bus that was filling up fast. She put her backpack down in the empty seat next to her. Five people came by and asked her to move her backpack, but she refused. The sixth person just grabbed it and threw it off the bus.
I laughed.

Some people REALLY don't want to be touched and other human beings should respect it.

You might have some anger problems or something , Man.

She had her bag on a seat , he picked it up and throw it off the bus. He never touched her. You might have some anger problems or something , Man. And you are certain there was nothing important in her bag, like medication, irreplaceable family photos or credit cards? I take the bus a lot, there is no problem with her using a bag to protect her personal space, she may have gone through a personal trauma, she may be painfully shy or claustrophobic, you have no way of knowing. And I've been on more than one bus where people have taken a leak on purpose, including a woman who tried to pee into a beer bottle, so I wouldn't want my stuff on those floors. She had every right not to want people sitting next to her, she was there first, if she gets on the bus and there's nowhere to sit, tough luck, it won't kill her, me, you or anyone without a disability to stand. And no, she should not then have to give up her seat if the bus fills up, she has just as much right as anyone else on that bus, and first come, first served. Me, personally, if I get on a bus that has nowhere to sit except for a seat occupied by a bag, I walk by and see if anyone offers a seat, if they don't, I stand and wait for seats to open up, because it's the polite, responsible thing to do. And yes, if someone just grabs someone else's bag and flings it off the bus, forcing the girl out of her seat, without first asking if she'd move it, since you said he JUST flinged it away immediately, yeah, I'd have a big problem with that, he has zero right to do that, and if HE'S got anger issues like that, he could probably do with a lesson in chivalry and civility.
