Oh, thanks. I recall that Misawa died young. He was 46 when he died but he also died in a wrestling ring. Literally.

Given he was virtually decapitated in the ring, I don't think he was in the right state of mind, likely. I strongly suspect you are confusing him with someone else, as I don't think he was even conscious afterwards.

His neck was in terrible shape. He was in so much pain his last few years that he couldn't work out. That's why he was out of shape and had a gut. He refused to see doctors.

By all accounts he surrounds himself with bad people and bad advisors. Own fault.

You know, it's possible to feel bad for someone even if they do it to themselves

Okay, I mistook your comment before as you saying that he refused help the night he died. You can see where I'd be confused as why he would do that, given he was already unconscious at that point until his death.

I can't feel sorry for someone that made who knows how much money over the course of their long and illustrious career, and is regarded as one of the biggest stars in the history of the business. He's a grown ass man he should know how to handle his money by now. That's my view on Flair and why I don't feel sorry for him. He's been in the business for around 35 years. With all of the money that Flair has made, if he decided to live his character in real-life instead of saving some of his money for the future, then he wouldn't be stumbling around TNA rings. But if Flair didn't learn to save and invest his money in the 1990s, what are the odds he was going to now?

Flair needs to get married several more times and continue spending twice as much as he earns and owes.
Maybe that will help?
