www.wwe.com/classics/15-greatest-world-heavyweight-champsCan't really argue with 1-4. Those are the guys that made that belt just as big as the WWE title. HHH probably made it bigger during his heel days. 15. Goldberg 14. Daniel Bryan 13. Randy Orton 12. Kane 11. CM Punk 10. Chris Jericho 9. John Cena 8. Mark Henry 7. Rey Mysterio 6. Sheamus 5. King Booker 4. Undertaker 3. Edge 2. Batista 1. HHH

It makes me shake my head seeing HHH at the top of another WWE.com list, even though I agree with it this time.

It makes me shake my head seeing HHH at the top of another WWE.com list, even though I agree with it this time. I was just about to post this. Every list that I have looked at he is high on it, #3 on 20 smartest Superstars as well which I just looked at. They are really going overboard at the moment with the HHH appreciation on WWE.Com and he isn't properly retired Oh and Christian! deserved to be on that list damn it. If only for his celebration/emotion after winning it for the first time

Edge should be number 1. And how is Mark Henry and Sheamus higher than Punk? Punk's reign was a billion times better than those two reigns.

Egde should be number 1. And how is Mark Henry and Sheamus higher than Punk? Punk's reign was a billion times better than those two reigns. I agree with you 100% on Sheamus' reign. Hell, I'd rather have the Great Khali higher than him, and 90% of the people on this board didn't like the move (I actually loved him as WHC). However, I can't agree with you on Mark Henry. Three words help prove it: Hall. Of. Pain.

Rey Mysterio shouldn't be up that high. His first reign mostly saw him in losing efforts, and he only feuded with Swagger in his second run.

Shaemus, Daniel Byran and King Booker? Really?

I was perfectly okay with this once I saw Bryan over Goldberg. Agree with the rest of it though as well. Punk's 3 reigns weren't that great, the wins were fun but the actual title reigns were meh at best.

Edge should be at least second, possibly first. Sheamus and Mysterio shouldn't be as high. Everything else is pretty spot on.

Also of note, the World Heavyweight Championship will be 10 years old on Sunday. Probably why they made the list.
And with 15/24 champions made the list. Here are the ones that didn't.
Jeff Hardy Kurt Angle The Great Khali Jack Swagger Christian Shawn Michaels Dolph Ziggler Big Show Chris Benoit

Rey is ranked too high. Rey Mysterio was booked as a terrible champion. One of the former SmackDown creative team members at the time has credited Vince for this, also noting that it took a lot of arguing before Vince finally allowed Rey to win the title at Mania to begin with.

Jeff Hardy Kurt Angle The Great Khali Jack Swagger Christian Shawn Michaels Dolph Ziggler Big Show Chris Benoit I think I'll point those out. Jeff Hardy: Didn't really do much. The fact that he, and not Matt (I backed Matt until he lost his mind and alienated the Internets), that was getting all these chances made me not like him back in the day. Kurt Angle: Wasn't really impressive. I think he was an "emergency champion". Because of the way he left the WWE, they really don't like giving him a lot of credibility. The Great Khali: As stated, I loved him as WHC. Of course, he can barely move, only can perform three actual wrestling moves, and so on. But he made Batista earn that belt back. Jack Swagger: Dude jobs to local talent now. They botched his WHC right from the gate with his feud with Big Show. Christian: Pissed off a lot of people by having him finally win a major title... and the WWE giving it to Orton a few nights later. Second reign involved his nuts being kicked to win 'em. Shawn Michaels: Wonderful moment, and first guy to take out Triple H for the belt. Alas, Triple H won it back a month later, and the remainder of their epic feud consisted of double count-outs and HBK losing. Dolph Ziggler: Routinely buried during his feud with Edge. Vickie strips Edge of WHC, gives it to Ziggler... and Ziggler loses it to Edge ten minutes later. Big Show: Didn't deserve to hold the belt at all. But it's better him than Ziggler being the shortest-reigning WHC. Chris Benoit: I think we all know why. And, I forgot about Rey. He IS too high on the list, because they had him lose 95% of his matches. Plus, his second run with the belt pissed me off given what had happened the previous month (it involved his kneebrace and the Undertaker's nose).

When did Show hold the WHC? I really don't remember that.

He won it from Henry at TLC and Bryan cashed it in on him. It was literally a few seconds.

These days when I think of the title, I tend to think more of Batista than I do Triple H. Batista's first WHT title reign was better than all of HHH's.

Honestly, I don't really see anyone else besides HHH that could've taken number 1. He held it first and longer than pretty much anyone else.
