I'm begining to think THIS was the plan all along. Started with the viral video, throw a few insults on Twitter, take "offence" to said insults thus pulling the plug on the angle, IWC goes into an uproar and is STILL debating what happened how many months later? They're working us with this, and in the grand scheme of things I don't think Ambrose was ever going to feud with Foley upon his arrival. This has all been a way to create a buzz for the guy. The buzz is dead at this point. They could have capitalized it then, but that was in MAY. It's now September, and there are no signs of him debuting any time soon or even doing a single thing. You don't let buzz linger for four months.

I think the IWC believed their own hype. I never thought for a second that Ambrose was gonna debut this year, nor that the internet thing with Foley was anymore than just them playing around. Right after their fling, there was a report saying HHH didn't want foley on tv. then Foley promptly showed up in santa gear.
That's what Foley can do, shill products dressed santa not push a guy to be the next hardcore icon. Not in PG era. Ambrose will debut eventually, but he was never the second coming ever.

Nope. My brother's not even an asshole anyway, was just making a point. My pulse was nice and relaxed throughout the typing of that post, even when I bit out her tongue.

It's not really much hype. The video didn't have enough hits to really matter, the only people who cared were those that wanted to see him already. There wasn't really any big buzz for the guy to capitalize on.

Why do we need sources? Have people not seen the blog that Foley wrote, or the tweets that Ambrose made? That's what we're going on here. Also, Bryan debuted on NXT a month after first appearing in FCW. It was also reported that HHH nixed the angle because he doesn't like Foley and he is immobile You're right, and the whole "he said something about my family" thing could've been to work people like us following it online, while the real reason is HHH not wanting to use Foley. Of course, the "HHH doesn't want to use Foley" thing could be made up as well, for the same reason.

If he wasn't going to debut this year, why did Punk work with him at an FCW taping? Why was he the focus of FCW, despite never winning a title, and got a huge feud with Regal? They clearly had plans for him, otherwise he would just be another guy in FCW like Nick Rogers or something.

Tyler Black worked with Punk too. So what?

I really do think that feud he started was never approved of by WWE creative, which is why the squashed it and made him delete everything about it.
It's too bad, they should encourage talent to do that.

So yes, it is reasonable for Punk to work with those guys considering where they are now. And why would Ambrose be doing absolutely nothing on the NuXT if they didn't have some plans of him being up before the end of the year?

Honestly the most memorable thing about this "feud" was when ambrose posted a pic of a spider he was trying to kill in his apartment. I still shudder to think he never got it.

Yes and then we end with WcW and the wrestlers writing their own stuff - that ended well, didn't it ?

Like I said before, they're perfecting his dance routine. They didn't rush Brodus Clay and they're not going to rush Dancing Dean Ambrose. Oh, Jesus - could you imagine if they actually debuted him with a dancing angle? I... I don't think I could ever visit this section - assuming such an event wouldn't crash this section forever.

So what? Dos Caras Jr did them for a year before Del rio was created.

It's too bad, they should encourage talent to do that. I thought too, maybe they were trying to get some buzz with a worked shoot and then present it to creative once it already had some support.

If Foley doesn't want to work with the guy, fine. Whatever the reason, big deal.
But this "if I can't trust a guy to do this, he might kill me in the ring" thing is just ridiculous. He's very open about the fact that he's taken some serious abuse with long-term implications (that murky underwater feeling from the chair-shot concussions, losing an ear, etc.) from guys he did trust -- so exactly what is the difference?
If Ambrose or anyone else was an unsafe wrestler and had injured or nearly injured others through carelessness, Foley or anyone else would be a danged fool to work with him. But to imply that some fairly harmless tweet is the reason that he can't wrestle with the guy because the "trust issue" extends to possibly causing him catastrophic damage in the ring ... please.
Mick likes attention. And he hasn't been getting enough lately. Nobody buys his books. His TNA run was a horrible disappointment. He's using this Ambrose thing to get over more than Ambrose ever did -- he thinks it makes him relevant to "make a stand." It doesn't.

He's debuting on Smackdown as Jimbo McFly, the assistant janitor working under William Regal. Every time he does something crazy Regal shouts, "Jimboooo!!".

whoa whoa, people are still pulling the "HHH hates Foley" card?
Foley completely ripped that argument apart last week.
