This seems less Kurt giving an honest opinion and more him still being sore that Punk called him out on the Twitter hacking thing a while back, that's the thing. Did Kurt ever even respond to that? I know Kurt got pretty pissed off the other day when Punk called TNA an Indy fed. If the comments are out of soreness, its much more likely to be about that.

Yeah, he went off on Punk calling him a never was, a pill head and threatening to break his ankle if he ever saw him. He then denied he said that and claimed it was a friend that did it.

I'd love to see Punk against a healthy Kurt Angle. It would be one hell of a match.
If Kurt could keep healthy and sane, there are quite a few matches I'd love to see out of him if he were to return to WWE - Punk, Bryan and Ziggler especially. I think he might mesh well with Sin Cara too - his matches with Mysterio were amongst my favorites, and Kurt could easily lead Sin Cara to a good WWE style match I think.

People are now saying that Punk is underrated? That is a joke. I agree with Angle. Punk is not special in the ring or even on the mic.

Meh, Kurt Angle the overrated has been. Loves to talks big, but is a wimpy sad little man.
Kurt needs to shut up seeing as he hasn't put on a good match in 12 years. Kurt quit being grumpy about losing your ex-wife and girlfriends to ugly hillbillies.

Kurt is way too concerned with those types of things. He's the kind that'll do interviews and talk about him putting on a 'five star match' on the next PPV or something. The worst was this triple threat title match with Jeff Hardy and someone else, and the week before he match he said something like "I've put the match together already, it's a 5 star match." I've never heard another wrestler say something that annoying. Of course the match was some over-choreographed spotfest. I think thats the BFG main even with Him, Hardy and Anderson, and thats exactly the interview I was thinking of. I mean, who the hell says that in an interview?

I was simply saying that Punk has never been appreciated enough for his in-ring work. People see him as someone who can do a job in the ring and is great on the mic. I, personally, feel that he is a very good in-ring competitor these days and could have a great match with damn near anybody. If you disagree that's fine but don't call my opinion a joke there is very little need for that.

I would say Punk is great in the ring and very, very good on the mic. I fell that he was being pushed a bit overrated by posters like us since his work shoot last year and using the moniker "Best in the World."

Kurt's just jealous. The man is a GOD in the ring, technically, but can't touch Punk, and especially Bryan, in terms of legit in-ring storytelling. Watch Punk vs. Bryan at Over The Limit 2012, two masters at their peak!

He can't and his TNA run has proven it, IMO. He's Davey Richards unless someone like Shawn, Taker or Jarrett are there to slow his ass down.

I've never seen anyone say Punk isn't any good in the ring. I have no idea who'd even say that.
