Damn and with MNF starting next week, they are looking at 3.5m across the show. 3 hours won't make it past Rumble I think.

Wow. One on the one hand, it seems people are tuning into hour one which is good, the fans now know it starts an hour earlier.
On on the other hand, that hour three drop is REALLY telling. The fans are getting burnt out throughout the show and can't stand to stick around, even if Cena is in the main event.

Can't sustain an audience for three hours. It's a ridiculous decision to go for that long.

Toward the end of my three hour lecture yesterday it occurred to me that it went by a hell of a lot faster than a three hour Raw.

I'm scared to see the breakdown, because Cena/Del Rio was pretty awesome. What time did #wwehug come on? I would hate for that to have lost viewers.

3 hrs is way too long for a wrestling show. Especially when they were doing good to make a 2 hr show enjoyable.

dat drop. its called kids have to go to bed The show didn't seem to have that problem before. It's not like Raw ends any later than it used to. I think it's the fact that three hours is really pushing it. Unless your program is top-notch, compelling television then people are going to get burned out after two hours. Hell, I was actually enjoying Raw for the most part Monday, but I certainly didn't have the willpower to keep watching for a third hour and just switched to something else.

People are burned out after two hours. I know that I am. I couldn't agree with you more. As WCW taught us, and as WWE should have learned by now, regular three hour shows are just too long.

Maybe people thought CM Punk wouldn't actually come back. These people maybe have never watched a wrestling show before, but that might be a reason.
Or they were so devastated over Swagger leaving that they just tuned out altogether.

I don't think it's 3 hours as much as it's the product. It a really boring, stale, slow paced show that ALSO is on for 3 long hours.
The last few months, I'm burned out on Raw when I think about even turning it on. With MNF starting this week, I doubt I'll watch much Raw until January. I still like wrestling, hell I still like WWE, but thought of sitting down and watching 3 hours of Raw is incredibly unappealing to me at the moment.
I almost wish they'd go back to the 1 hour format.

Not only am I usually burned out by the third hour, but boy was I PISSED when Punk walked out of the show. I literally changed the channel until the main event. I know they wanted to try and find some way to get Punk heat in Chicago, but I really hope other people did that as well. Absolutely stupid move.

I guess I don't mind the 3 hours because I don't own a TV and go to my folk's once a week to watch RAW. It's the only show I watch, lol.
