I remember something the late great Bam Bam Bigelow told me once about hecklers:
"You should be so concentrated on your match that whatever some fan screams about your mom or wife should not even register."

People are blaming Randy for this yet.... when Punka acts like a dick towards fans people defend him? For the record, threatening a fan is a dick move. If a guys heckling you or insulting you, laugh it off or insult them back. "I hate you Batista!" "I hate you too!" CM Punk isn't the one with multiple wellness strikes and documented maturity issues which led to a suspension in 2006.

Randy Orton in the original ecw would have been something to see

"Hey Orton! Wives #17 through #24 give unconvincing, flat performances!"

Whatever was said by the heckler, I'm sure Cena has heard worse.
Much much worse.

CM Punk isn't the one with multiple wellness strikes and documented maturity issues which led to a suspension in 2006. So because Punk has kept clean and hasn't had any suspensions it's acceptable for him to be a dick to fans?

Pretty sure that when Punk did his 'homo' rant, people didn't let him off for it. I thought it was smegging stupid and ignorant of him, and was pleased when he actually accepted the criticism for it and apologised, and told anyone defending him that they were dead wrong.

No. But Orton has a history of issues with maturity, has gotten into plenty of trouble and should not even let himself get involved with a fan.

I remember the thread well, and yes, Punk got called out plenty for his remarks. Same when he attacked the Nike guy (forget his name),

I'm surprised Orton wasn't waiting for the fan so he could shit in his bag.

I just get the impression that Randy Orton, over the past year or so, has been in a DGAF state of mind. Basically admitting he was smoking weed over Twitter, flipping off the camera, the wellness violation and now this confrontation with the fan (as well as the Internet rumored baby he had with a girl who is not his wife, which may or may not be true), it just seems like Randy is losing it again. Perhaps he's unhappy with his spot, or he's just bored with the job, or maybe he's just testing his boundaries to see how far he could go before they fire him. Either way, he's clearly not matured much at all.
Edit: oh, and forgot to mention the "Kelly Kelly is a slut" radio interview that he did.
