Aries comes off the top rope onto Roode, legs hooked... Taeler goes down to make the count... On-OW!Taeler stands up, clutching her hand. I think I broke a nail! She signals for the bell. I'm sorry, but I can't go on officiating. I'm afraid I have no choice to but to disqualify Austin Aries. After all, I wouldn't have hurt myself if he hadn't gone for the pin...Aries grabs Taeler's wrist, but Roode clubs him from behind, then hit's the Pay Off! Cover... OneTwoThree!Tenay: Are you serious?! Borash: The winner of this match and still TNA Television Champ- Roode grabs the microphone. NO! Because I won this match, I am NO LONGER THE TNA TELEVISION CHAMPION! I'm vacating this title once and for all! And I want my title shot next week! Kurt Angle, get out here and make it official!Gold MedalKurt Angle walks out with a microphone. Congratulations Bobby. You just won your tenth title defense and you must be pretty proud of yourself. After all, you didn't have to do anything to win the last two. And now you're ready to challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
Except that that match will NOT be happening. The crowd cheers as Roode flips out. You see, you bought it all, hook line and sinker. You thought this was your big break. But in reality...
It was all a test.Slay MeSting walks out, flanked by Abyss and Hernandez. You were right Sting. Give him enough rope and he'd hang himself.Angle hands him the microphone and exits. You failed. And now, you'll have to deal with me.Roode looks nervous as Abyss and Hernandez start towards the ring. Wait!
Not like this. Bobby, I want to take care of you personally. At Bound For Glory. You and me, one on one.YOU ALL SCREWED ME OVER! YOU TRICKED ME!
Bound For Glory Sting, I will make you pay!Great. The Revelation turns to leave, but then Sting stops and turns back towards the ring. Oh and next week? You're facing Hernandez. Good luck. The Revelation heads to the back, leaving Roode in the ring to throw a fit. Tenay: Well, we can't say Roode didn't get what he deserved. Sadler: Tough love from Sting if you ask me. Tenay: Well folks, when we return, the much anticipated face off between Joey Ryan and Eric Young will take place! Sadler: Don't turn the channel, we'll be right back!

I was actually prepared for a Shelley win, so add me to the surprised list.
Also, was that an OK payoff to Roode's title run? I went through around ten different ideas before deciding on what I just posted. I'll admit it was a means to an end, but now more people will have a fair shot at the Television Championship.

We return from break to Eric Young in the ring.
Reason #239: His mustache is ugly. How can someone with such an ugly mustache defeat me? He can't, its just impossible.
Reason #240: I just came off the biggest win of my life. I was looking ahead, and wasn't focused on him.
Reason#241: I had a small cold. I was having trouble breathing out of my nose, which effected my stamina in our match. If I was healthy, he would've been defeated easily.
Reason #242: Armbar! If I had decided to lock in an armbar, I would've won.
But you know, I can keep talking about how lucky Joey Ryan, but I think its obvious to everyone here that at Bound For Glory, I am going to wipe the floor with him.
Joey Ryan makes his way to the ring.
Eric Young.
Young Eric? Yeah, I like that one.
Young Eric, I was backstage and I heard you out here, running the yap mouth thingie. Let's get one thing straight here buddy. You beat AJ Styles. Not once, not twice, but three times. You took down the franchise player of TNA. Not only took him down, you bitch slapped his ass and made him beg for mercy! So congrats there, Young Eric.
But you need to remember something. Your very first match after becoming TNA Champion, I took you to the limit. You and Magnum JR, the Wayward Warrior of Excitement! The WWE, if you will...
Can I say that on the air? No? Oh.
OK, I didn't just say that, maybe edit it in post. I dunno.
But the point is, Young Eric, I already showed the world that I have your number. And at Bound For Glory, you can bet your ass that I'm gonna finish the job.
You have MY number?
Last time I looked Ryan, I sure as hell didn't see you beat me either. The fact of the matter is that you fluked your way to a draw, by running like a scared coward for most of the match, and finally starting to fight when time started running out.
I want you to realize something. I have progressed much more from when we first met. I could wrestle circles around that EY, and if you think you can get lucky again... you're nearly as dumb as you look.
So take that lucky horseshoe, your four leaf clover, your rabbit's foot, and shove it straight up your CENSORED
Ryan just laughs.
Come on now, Young Eric. You know you don't mean that. After all, almost losing to me got you way more attention than you've gotten in most of your career.
Ryan then turns serious.
But if I were you, I'd go back and watch that match. Because if I remember it right, you had both your lackeys at ringside and still couldn't get the job done. Yet I'm the bozo...
Listen, Ryan. We could talk about match finishes all night long. But you know, and I know, that neither of us have any control of that. When the bell rings, what happens happens.
But you know what Magnum... I'm not just going to keep downplaying you. I feel like giving you some credit. And everyone a bit of a reality check.
You're not a flavor of the week. You've found a way to have some continued success here. And you know what, you're a good wrestler. I'll even say great. And on one night... "technically speaking", you and I were considered equals in that ring. Now think about everything that has transpired since then. This whole Bound For Glory series, everything. You have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are the best wrestler TNA can muster up to face me. Better than all the rest, by a huge margin.
And all you could do was tie me. One measly draw, and you're their "best chance to take the title off of me".
Joey Ryan, it isn't a matter of there being too much pressure at BFG for you to handle. I ALONE, AM TOO MUCH TO HANDLE.
Because in my heart, I know you can't beat me. You will not pin me on that mat for three seconds, and I certainty won't tap.
These people refuse to believe that, they want to hold on to this fantasy dream.
This company refuses to believe that. They need to quickly get the title off of the man with the radical ideas and of course, the man now in possession of his contract.
Joey Ryan, you refuse to believe that. You think your skills and indy experience will somehow be enough to defeat me on the biggest night in my career, at the pay per view where I made my name last year.
But I don't care. If no one wants to respect my ability in that ring and admit that I am the greatest wrestler in this company, then they will need to learn that lesson the hard way. I will keep defeating each and every obstacle in my path until I beat that lesson of anyone who doubts me.
Joey Ryan... Do you doubt my skill? Do you doubt my viciousness? Do you doubt me?
Do I doubt you? No way. You're the TNA World Champion. And like you pointed out, you kicked ass last year at Bound For Glory. You showed the world what Young Eric could do in the ring. You showed the world how brutal you could get.
And in the year since, you've done nothing but get better. You won the Legends Championship and went on to have a hell of a run with it. And even after you lost it, you didn't let it get you down. You went out, got yourself a posse, and won the TNA World title. Not to shabby.
But one thing you seem to have overlooked. Yeah, you're a lot better than you were when we had our match. But you forget...
So am I.
The fans cheer. Eric Young walks closer to Joey Ryan, until they are eye to eye.
...then I guess the question is . . . . . who has progressed further.
Joey Ryan, let me make this clear to you. This month and the repercussions of my conversation with Dixie, which will air at Bound for Glory, are going to be crazy. I have my contract under my own control. And the consequences of that will be dire. There will be madness, confusion, and a whole bunch of surprises, but don't you forget the words I am about to speak.
If you want to call me Young Eric, be my guest. But I am not just wild and young, I am the single toughest opponent you will ever face in your life. If you're looking to BFG to turn you into a star, I have good news for you. I am going to make you infamous. After we're through, they'll never forget your name. But they certainly won't forget that in the end, it was I, "Showtime" Eric Young.
I, EY!
I, the former Beer Drinking Champion.
I, the former X-division Champion.
I, the former Tag Team Champion.
I, the former Legend's Champion.. and I think we all remember that one.
I, the current World Heavyweight Champion and face of TNA... that came out victorious at Bound for Glory.
I'm going to take you to hell and back and I severely doubt we'll both survive the trip. Enjoy the ride, its better than any mustache one you can offer.
If you're prepared for a battle, I'll give you a war. Expect a war, get an annihilation. Prepare for annihilation, and you don't even want to imagine what I have prepared.
*smirk*
Eric Young turns around and starts to exit the ring. He stops himself.
No... I want to hear you. Joey Ryan, the floor is yours. You get the last words, and you better make them count. I have just pushed you against the edge of the cliff, and if you don't have something big prepared, then you're about to fall.
Final words, Joey. Make the count.
Eric Young stares intently at Ryan.
Joey Ryan raises his mic.
Just kidding. You have to earn the final words, and little Joey... you haven't earned shit.
Eric Young turns around and exits the ring. Ryan looks angry as Young's music plays.
Tenay: Well, an intense face off between the Champion and challenger. Sadler: Both men seem ready for Bound For Glory, but we still a long way to go. Tenay: Indeed. The next few shows will be very interesting as we continue to roll towards the biggest event of the year! Sadler: That's all for tonight, but we'll see you next week on TNA Impact! Good night!

We had the Impact after No Surrender. Knocked Out was supposed to be on the fifteenth, but was moved to the eighteenth, which was when tonight's show was supposed to be.
Then you bailed on Friday, so I had to do last week's show tonight. So next week will catch us up where we should be.

September 11: Impact September 15: Knocked Out September 18: Impact September 25: Impact October 2: Impact October 9: Impact October 14: Bound For Glory
Knocked Out WASN'T an Impact. So we're a show behind, a show I needed for the Television Championship tournament. This catches us up.
Nirvana, Bound For Glory card:
TNA World Heavyweight Championship match: Eric Young vs. Joey Ryan
TNA X Division Championship match: Brian Kendrick vs. Robbie E
TNA World Tag Team Championship match: Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus vs. Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian
TNA Women’s Championship match: Melanie Crank vs. Hamada
TNA Women’s Tag Team Championship match: Velvet Sky and Angelina Love vs. Mickie James and Gail Kim
TNA Television Championship Tournament Final: TBA
Rosita vs. Traci Brooks

I thought Knocked Out was a replacement for one of those Impacts.
You really shouldn't have six shows to build the PPV, Macman.
Sorry if I'm being overly critical. But you're doing stuff that you wouldn't get away with in WWE. Roode's title run is another good example. Titles shouldn't be props in other storylines. If you weren't planning on actually giving Roode a title shot, why not just face Shelley again and put him over? Hayden could've used the win.
It's not fair to everyone else that you controlled that title for as long as you did, especially in light of the pay off. And I don't think you'd be booking two shows like this if you hadn't done that. Because it seems like you only want the extra show for the tournament.

It's NOT. AN. EXTRA. SHOW.
There were five Impacts scheduled between No Surrender and Bound For Glory. Knocked Out was a special to be held on September 15. It wasn't an Impact nor was it intended to be.
And by doing the tournament, I'm giving others a chance to go for the title. And it allows a good launch point for the new direction of the title.
And I know how you feel about the Roode angle, M. But I had my reasons for doing it. And it's a huge burden off of me to not have to worry about weekly title defenses for Roode. It served it's purpose for me, but I'm glad that part of the angle is over with.
