Any other people happy being single here?

I sure am. I get to do whatever the hell I want without having someone to answer to at the end of the day/night. I can talk to anyone I like without someone watching behind me getting jealous. No immense paranoia. Yeah, I've just come out of a bad relationship.

Been single for afew years now , I was in a relationship and to be honest I wasnt that overly upset when it ended.

I've always been single. in some ways it sucks because I'm 26 and I've still not done... certain things. on the other hand, I do enjoy the relative freedom it gives me, and right now I'm in a very hectic program at school so it would just be another stressor I have no time for.

I'm in the same boat. I've been single most of my life, just now am I starting to kinda accept it and get used to it. Being alone so often does suck but I can still do whatever I want. Plus right now, money is tight for me so I can barely support myself, let alone go dating with someone else. It's for the best right now.

I've been in a relationship for 4 years and it seems to me that my single friends are LIVING THE DREAM.

I love my GF, but there are moments where the "I made out with 5 girls last night" stories do make me a little jealous

I've been actively pursuing relationships lately more than I ever have before (I'm 27, I figure it's time to see if the "right girl" is out there...not like I want to get married tomorrow or even next year, but I feel I at least need an eye towards the future), but by and large I've rarely had any problems with being single.

You set your own schedule, you're not beholden to anyone, you do the things that amuse you, etc. Nothing wrong with enjoying that. I just want to give the whole relationship scene a legitimate try now.

I have not been on a date since 2008. I am more content about it than happy about it. Some days, I wish I can just spend some time with someone. On the other hand, I still have a lot of freedom.

Single life is pretty damn good, sex is slightly inconsistent. I run into 1 of 2 problems, either they catch feelings and I got to skadaddle, or they get interested in someone else, but that's why we network people.

I have been with someone for a 2 years now, but was single pretty much all through college.

And yes I loved it. I was ready for a change though. I liked being single and at times I miss it.

I kind of enjoy having essentially a best friend that I can sleep with ya know? Random chicks were fun, but having the sure thing is fun too

I enjoy being a bachelor. I'll admit, there are aspects of my friends who are in committed relationship's lives that I envy, but likewise, there are aspects of mine which they too envy.

I get home from work. Noone there to greet me or for me to greet when she'd be home.
Noone to say goodbye to when I leave for work, or say goodbye to me when she'd leave.
Always shopping and cooking for one.
Noone to share spontaneous weekend trips with.
Noone to share laughter and sorrow with.
