I'm fine with Ryback vs. Punk in a Cell. Let's Punk end the streak while making Ryback look like a big threat and let's Cena heal.

I was NOT expecting that. Just started a program with Miz, the IC champ.... and now all of a sudden a hotshot to the WWE Championship picture?

I was just throwing the idea out there, but strangely enough, I might be right. I understand having Ryback beating Miz for the title being the "moment", but let's just say that this leads to nothing and Ryback doesn't face Miz for the IC title and instead guns for the WWE title. Does that mean that Miz can't lose non-title matches to anyone? But I do agree that it's more meaningful to hold off on a big win with the title on the line, but at the same time...I hate the notion that anyone with a belt is superior to anyone else. That should be their mindset, but never the statistic, especially if they're a heel. So if Ryback guns for Punk at HIAC...you can say I called it.

He didn't fear him so much as RyBack's heavy breathing was pushing him backwards.

This whole storyline makes no sense, Ryback has NOTHING to do with the current storyline, I just really really hate the title picture right now. 310 days and counting. It's hilariously bad how they just said "**** it, put Ryback in"

Yeah, HiaC is five weeks away and the main event challenger can't wrestle.
Ryback is going to get his shot and win by DQ/Count-Out. It might lead to something down the road, but he ain't getting the PPV main event.

It's hilariously bad how they just said "**** it, put Ryback in" Well, CM Punk did just get done saying that there were a lot of guys in the back that want a shot at Punk. Ryback simply got there first.

Too bad it isn't the standard cage match, I could see Ryback throwing Punk through the cage for the victory.
Honestly...out of all the times where Ryback could face Punk, this might work based on the sheer brutality that it could deliver from Ryback's domineering.

If this is their backup plan in case Cena isn't ready by Hell in a Cell... it's actually a pretty good idea, compared to the alternatives.
Orton's much more established, but at the same time that means winning or losing wouldn't alter his career or his place in the pecking order one way or the other, and the whole thing would reek of filler.
Ryback's a fresh face who's been carefully protected and built up for months, such that even though he'll obviously lose, there's still the question of whether or not he'll be able to hang with the main eventers, and I think that could generate at least a little bit of interest.
