I think so far Gookermania has turned out really well. This little promo's for Bergman btw are really getting me excited to see the match.
EDIT**
Something else I just noticed btw. While a lot of folks probably don't say anything I think there's quite a following for this. Aside from the True Blood Mafia Thread, the FAWA threads have been consistently putting up views over 6k. The promo thread presently has over 7k and the previous FAWA thread had over 8k! This one already has over 400 and was only created a few days ago!

Thanks Connor, although to be fair they were mine and BRB's idea. I always knew I wanted to do something like this and BRB kinda gave me the model he thought would be successful. Also, that relative thing between Naitch and I is a shoot, we're actually related IRL, so just a little winking at that.

Seems like there's always so much stuff you miss when a person comes into this sort of thing with a lot of history. Makes me wish I'd known about it sooner.

So what did everybody think of my debut Gookermania match? I'm still adjusting to the style of writing here, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

I thought it was an interesting choice for an entrance theme. A lot of upbeat melody which I thought might be showing Gus is working his way out of doom and gloom.

Well it was either a song that showed that or a song that pretty much said I was going to tear The Fallen apart (like "Vengeance Is Mine" by Alice Cooper).

I think either would work but considering him talking about the light now this one probably fits a little bit better imo.

Now, to catch up with a few comments...
1. I'm glad you like that touch, Connor. It's in a similar spirit to The Animated Pay Per View and I think they do add character to a supercard show. I encourage everyone to write more segments like those.
2. Excellent work as before, Mr. B Natural. You seem to have a knack for good, long matches.
3. I did not know that Littlenaitch was your shoot uncle, much less your character's uncle, Bergman. I learned something new when I read that segment.
4. You're not the only to notice our thread views, Connor. I can't pinpoint how we get so many though. I'm sure it's a combination of factors such as the fact that we advance our threads far more slowly than the other e-feds here because our style requires more investment from members. That and we have a separate thread for promos which typically span months and months of time by themselves. I do wonder how many members we have compared to the other two though. I'm sure that could be a factor. Finally, I would be flattered to find out that there are members who are content to read our work.
I also hope that this little publicity stunt with Demented is working - even a little bit. My hat is off to him for everything he's done on his part. I hope to do another "celebrity match" for next year's Gookermania to really put it to the test.

Awesome match for the Freakin' Awesome Invitation! Great job all around. But let me just say, I did do a little detective work of my own and had a feeling, hence my question on Viva a little while ago. Welcome back Viva!
