Can't remember the name of it. From the 90s and it starred the unlikely combination of Rhea Pearlman (Carla from Cheers) and Malcolm McDowell (Alex the Droog).. It was about Pearlman going to college or something and McDowell was a Professor. Pearl. I had to look it up. I have one episode on tape when Billy Connolly guest starred

I enjoyed the short-lived "The Good Life" (starring Drew Carey) from 1994. It didn't catch on, but The Drew Carey Show debuted the following year and did pretty well.
There's another show whose name I've tried to remember. The father spoke with an exaggerated accent (he drove a "kee-ab" instead of a cab, etc.). The episode I remember was about the teenage son wanting to listen to a song called "Kill Your Mother." I just found a bit of information--the show was called "Where I Live" and ran in 1993, and the family was from Trinidad.

Also about City Guys, the TNBC show, Rob Van Dam appeared in it as himself. It was a wrestling themed episode and L-Train, played by Steven Daniel, was his tag partner for a match. A few years ago , I'd say mid-2000s, RVD did an interview and mentioned he met Daniel again on the beach. He was selling CDs of his album and apparently living on the streets.

There was an episode of Drexell's Class where Drexell was trying to give President Clinton a petition his students had signed to save their music class and the Secret Service thought he had a gun.

The whole Saturday Morning Teen Sitcom craze. I think a lot of Peter Engel's "non-Saved By The Bell" projects are forgotten Hang Time City Guys California Dreams Not short lived by any means, but they are forgotten. Few people know these shows anymore. At least California Dreams was lucky enough to get DVD sets for seasons (Well, except for the last one). Anyway, does anybody remember this one? I am thinking about buying the whole series: Also, I am glad I have both DVD sets of this show, despite the humor not holding up that well, though it's still funny:

Just a couple shows off the top of my head...
Ink staring Ted Danson and Mary Steenberger
Just the Ten of Us - This show had three actresses from the Nightmare on Elm Street film series.
The Mike O' Malley show - Lasted only two episodes on NBC. D-D-D-Do you have it? This show didn't.
Big Lake and Secret Girlfriend - Two shows on comedy central that weren't really that funny.

I think I might have been the only fan of The Winner. For those of you who don't know or remember, it was the show where Rob Cordrey was a man living with his parents who was in love with his neighbor and her son who was like 10 was his best friend.

Heil Honey I'm Home....
Yes, someone thought a sitcom centered around Hitler was a good idea... and it lasted 1 episode.

How about another short-lived Fox sitcom? This one's called Babes and it's about 3 single girls looking for love in the big city.
Oh yeah, they're also fat. That's why it's funny!
Early Fox is like a goldmine of short lived sitcoms.

Big Lake and Secret Girlfriend - Two shows on comedy central that weren't really that funny. Secret Girlfriend was INCREDIBLE! It was like POV porn in sitcom form.

Hi Honey Im Home. It dealt with a 50s sitcom family somehow getting sent into "our" world, kind of like the film Pleasantville in reverse (only that film came out in 1998 and this show came out in 1991, so it actually predates that premise).

I was going to mention a shed load of British comedies bit then I realised the set up is completely different to the US. Our series tend to be much shorter and some of the classics were written to last for only 2-3 series at most (Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones, The Office). Still I found one that I had great joy in catching up with.
Between The Young Ones and Bottom, Ade Edmonson and Rik Mayall made Filthy, Rich and Catflap.

Four Kings, and NBC comedy that Seth green was on was really underrated. I suggest you all look for it. I had no idea iguanas would attack you over anything until I saw that show.
