I call BS on a lot of these. A guy like Tensai has never been a draw and when he returned would have very little negotiating power. WWE wouldn't just give him $500 000 for the hell of it. Was pretty big in Japan. So he was probably making okay money and enjoying himself over there, not to mention probably living there. They hired him to be a main eventer, his getting on a bit in age. He also trained at the same school as Triple H. I'm not saying that they couldn't of gotten him cheaper but to act like he had little negotiation power or value simply isn't true. Tensai lives in the states with his wife and toddler. The lack of travel to Japan is why he wanted to go back to WWE. That said, some if salary figures are in line with other estimates but the contracts lengths are so far out of wack I cannot buy it.

We all know that $300,000 a month is the maximum anyone can be paid. And there are no such things as perks, aside from Creative Control. /EWR

If true the divas pay scale has gone down the last several years. The highest paid diva (Trish) was getting paid half a million a year and the lower paid diva's like Cherry or Melina (back when was still a manager) was around 125,000 a year.
After yearly expenses of travel, food, hotel, rentals, ring gear, morgage/rent I'd be surprised if Nattie or Alicia are able to break even.

These all seem reasonable to me. Del Rio's doesn't surprise me since he was a big star in Mexico and you've gotta figure they offered him a lot to sway him into coming to the US.
Kofi's pay is a lot lower than I expected. I think he deserves more.
Jinder's contract makes me think of some of these lower card guys wouldn't just be better off working the indies. 75K is a lot, but I assume he's paying for his own travel accomodations, and if you're on the road all year that's gonna add up.
Didn't Punk sign a new deal around the time of the original pipe bomb angle? I'd be shocked if it was for 7 years. He doesn't seem like he plans on staying much longer.

This thread got more reaction for Jinder than anything he's done since he came to WWE.

I imagine others would pair up as well as a way to have someone to talk to, as well as not have to spend a whole lot at once as they travel.

If I'm correct, that's the minimum they're allowed to pay them. You get paid for each show you do as well as your downside, I believe.

If this is true, Tensai has no business making five times as much as Zack Ryder. Uhm... why? Tensai's been in the business a lot longer than Zack, and he's accomplished a lot more at this time. That's just how these sorts of things work: if you have more experience and more accomplishments, you get paid more money. Note the veteran minimum salaries in (American, at least) pro sports. Besides, Zack's probably making a lot more than Tensai on merch anyway (especially if he's getting a bonus for high sales), so it's probably not as wide of a gap. Besides, Zack's going to get the chance to pass Tensai. He's much closer to his peak, which he hasn't even hit yet. Also, I find it interesting Cena doesn't get a bus. (I'll let everyone else make the joke about the banging and the busing and the Divas roster.) And Tensai has options - they had to pay him more to make the transition or he'd have just stayed where he was. Salary in any industry is not about how much you deserve or how much you're worth, it's about how much both sides are willing to pay to make a deal in that instance.

Plus keep in mind, it's the downsides. They give guys like Ziggler and Rhodes more opportunity in the year to make more than their downsides than they do Tensai.

All numbers are downside guarantees, which means they make that much only if they get injured or have downtime. Chances are everyone makes between a little more (Cena/Orton) to probably a fair bit more (Mahal).

Sheamus' contract seems kind of high. However, I wonder if he just resigned? I bet his developmental contract just ended.

CM Punk will be in the WWE for a long time from now. Just because he said he will retire in a few years doesn't mean he would. Many wrestlers claim that and the only ones that do retire are the ones that have injuries. Punk seems like a smart man and he will not get fired for drug problems.
Bryan needs a raise.

Anyone care to explain how AJ who has been on the main roster for a year or less makes $18000 more than Layla?
These estimates are probably pretty close but that one just blows my mind.

I'd imagine that if these are anywhere close to real that she probably got a new deal and a nice raise this summer when WWE fell in love with her.
