Fun to actually see entertaining football, watching Milan has taken that away this season. Without El Shaarawy we'd be toast.
On a happier note, go buy Football Manager 13, perhaps it's because I haven't played a FM since 2009 but I'm having a blast.

I still can't believe we're in the QF's of a major competition. We seem to be unstoppable on pens over the past couple of seasons. Here's hoping we get one of the big four! Get in City!!!!!!

Bloody hell more shit officiating, he failed to give us (and Arsenal) a penalty, bottled sending a player off and played too much stoppage time.
However that shouldn't have mattered, there's no excuse for throwing away a 4-0 lead, that's just embarrassing.
Still I suppose it was a spectacle, a game I'll never forget and all that bollocks.

Went to Reading Arsenal last night Without doubt the best away game I've ever been to, just incredible stuff, a game I'll never forget Got to give the Reading fans credit, possibly the loudest home fans I've heard at an away game. And hilarious how every chant they threw at us was thrown right back in their face ;D First half...well I've seen some terrible performances from Arsenal recently but by gawd king that was bowling shoe ugly from us. Awful defending, awful defending and I lost count of how many times we misplaced the ball out for a throw in. Theo's goal right before the break was not deserved at all. Some Arsenal fans left. Mugs. Second half....started exactly like the 1st but we worked our way back into it. Wenger got his subs right, Giroud looked a threat and Eisfeld looked pretty good. There were tons of moments in that 2nd half where I thought "This is it, we're not going to do it now". As for the late late equalizer I think Jason Roberts getting subbed off might just have been the reason why play kept going longer maybe Extra time and I was in disbelief when we took the lead. My friend is currently working in Morocco as a football coach at an Arsenal soccer school (He's a Spurs fan btw) so I text him telling him Chamakh was playing with excitement (sorry sarcasm) and he responded by saying the streets of Morocco were going wild (again sarcastically). We both ended up with eggs on our faces. When Reading equalized I think that was honestly the low point of the whole match for me. The gut punch basically. It seemed as if we may have thrown it away. But I should have known how crazy this game was it wouldn't be over and sure enough it wasn't. A night I'll never forget as long as I live. What exactly is going to top that?

As a fellow fan of a League Two team i am pleased for you and will be hoping you get through to the Semis. Hoping we can start our own run on Saturday in the FA Cup. Great night for Local Football in North Yorkshire tonight as Harrogate Town have made it to the first Round the FA Cup .

On a happier note, go buy Football Manager 13, perhaps it's because I haven't played a FM since 2009 but I'm having a blast. it's funny, while I don't think this year's Milan team can compete for the title, I don't think we're as bad as shown. I think Allegri is really holding the team back in a lot of ways. Biggest thing to me is if we're gong to play a 3-man backline you need to have some athleticism back there, meaning Zapata and Acerbi should be part of the backline. Bonera and Yepes are good soldiers, but they are not guys who should be playing every game. Mexes is okay, but I think he's getting sold sooner rather than later due to disagreements with Allegri. Also have to accept that Pazzini has been a bust. Play Bojan as more of a CF/CAM instead of a target man like he's been doing and play SES/Pato/Urby off of him.

Same old story from Liverpool today. Nice attacking, flowing football. No out and out striker to put the f***er in the net when it's needed. Suarez's goal was world class though.

I noticed the Met Police had a team in the first round of the FA Cup, I wonder if they charged themselves for the policing? Maybe they walked along the front filming their own fans? Perhaps those same fans got searched on the way or maybe they didn't even make it there after being subjected to Section 27?

I'm a little late to the party here, but here's United/Arsenal in a nutshell for you:
- Tom Cleverley commits a stupid foul and gets booked. He commits a second rash foul and is warned by the ref that one more, he's gone. Fergie takes him off for Anderson.
- Jack Wilshere commits a stupid foul and gets booked. He commits a second rash foul and is warned by the ref that one more, he's gone. Wenger leaves him on, he commits another foul and Arsenal goes to 10-men.
Call it a lack of bench options or a complete lack of awareness, but tactically Arsene was destroyed by Sir Alex on Saturday.
That 2-1 scoreline is so very flattering to the Gunners.

Compared to last years 8 2 scoreline, Saturday's score was fine by me. I knew we would lose. Our performance was pathetic though no doubt, not a shot on target till the 92nd minute. Wenger got his tactics wrong absolutely. Vito Mannone was probably the only Arsenal player that came out of the game with any credit. Why he continues to play Santos at left back I don't know, he's an easy target. Why Giroud and Ramsey played I don't know. You can make the excuse that Theo played 120 minutes midweek but do you reckon he wanted to be rested? Doubt it. But if we get a result at Schalke tomorrow (a game much more important really than the Man U one, we were never going to beat Man U) then I'll take it back.

Craig Levein sacked as Scotland manager tonight. No surprise really. I did want him to go if I'm honest
Don't get me wrong I know Scotland aren't world beaters (or even close to it) but other managers have gotten a lot more out of squads around the same skill level. I just hope the next manager can at least make watching a Scotland match less than the feeling a cow gets going to the slaughterhouse
