Good point for Liverpool today. Yes, Suarez pushed Ramires but he didn't appeal, they were too busy thinking it was offside. Of course, it had to be Suarez who fell on John Terry's knee and injured him. But in his defence, he was pushed in the back by Ramires and that caused him to go down (and he didn't dive).

Jesus Christ, that Ibrahimovic goal was f***ing beautiful! In other news, did you see that AFC Wimbledon are playing MK Dons in the FA Cup? That will be interesting.

all i heard on the car radio on the way home from windsor park tonight (holy crap we were shocking) was about how good zlatans goal was. they were rating it alongside some of the greatest goals ever scored and by the end of it i was looking forward to seeing it when i got back in the house... It was good aye but nowhere near as good as the people on the radio said it was. Trevor sinclairs was far, far, far, better. still nice though.

Somehow when people consider the greatness of goals, the player who scored it is always a factor. Don't know how Rooney's bicycle kick against Manchester City got voted the greatest goal ever in the Premier League.

Yeah, that goal last night was a great goal and all but one of the greatest of all-time? Possibly. The greatest of all-time? Not by a long shot.

Arsenal win. Spurs, Chelsea and Man U all lose. Great day of football We looked absolutely awful until Adebayor got sent off so Id like him for being an idiot and getting himself an early bath. Great to see mr Thierry Henry at the game today as well he must have enjoyed that. The first half in particular was the most enjoyable I've seen at the Emirates this season, great entertainment. And what a game for Per Mertesacker to get his first Arsenal goal. First time I've ever seen him jump I think too.

Roberto di Matteo sacked as Chelsea manager and replaced by Rafa Benitez. He can at least say he lasted longer than Andre Villas Boas, and that he actually won the trophy no previous Chelsea manager could.

Rangers won their tax case against HMRC, which makes the whole Craig Whyte experience an evern more bitter pill to swallow but you can't change the past..................yet so they just have to get on with it
And that Owen tache is glorious, I have all these stupid wee taches I'm seeing people sprout. If you're gonna do it, go all out like Owen

WHUTCHA GONNA DO, BROTHER, WHEN OWENMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU! That picture makes me sad. Not the 'tache as that is glorious but seeing "2001 European Footballer of the Year". His career really went to shit when he left Liverpool didn't it. I know he had a lot of injuries but he's becoming more famous for getting paid lots of money to be injured rather than that period at the turn of the century when he was a phenomenal player.

Was Philips Mexes goal last night better than Ibrahimovic's last week? I honestly think so.
Podolski's goal last night was the most blatant RVP impression I've seen. Stunning goal though. Great to see Jack getting on the scoresheet, he hasn't looked like he's missed a step yet.
As for Di Matteo's sacking what can you say that hasn't already been said? Absolute joke.

Mark Hughes has proven himself to be an average-at-best manager. Wouldn't consider any of his jobs successful besides Blackburn and the Wales national team. I remember being baffled at the reactions to his sacking from Manchester City, making it sound like it was the most unreasonable dismissal ever.

Did ok in his year at Fulham, they finished 8th I believe after being in the relegation zone near Christmas. He should have never quit that job. West Brom 3rd in the Premier League now, Steve Clarke has been the manager of this season so far for me. Arsenal are playing them at home in a couple of weeks, looking forward to that game.

Most boring weekend of live Premiership football ever? West Brom vs. Sunderland was the only worthwhile game and I missed all of that.
Thank god the F1 was exciting at least.
