Cobb even if it's not an accurate portrayal, Tommy Lee Jones is fun to watch in it.

didn't see the poll but would put major league in there as well but that was released in 89 really? I didn't realize there was that big of a gap between the 2 movies. ML = 1989 MLII= 1994 ML: Back to the Minors = 1998 kind of surprised there was a smaller gap between 2 and 3 than there was between 1 and 2

There shouldn't be any gap at all, since they should have never made a sequel...let alone 2 sequels, the latter of which you hopefully intentionally left off. Also...no love for Mr. Baseball?

Angels in the Outfield has a special place in my heart even if for all accounts 'The Sandlot' is a better movie.

Rookie of the Year is one of the worst movies ever. I've never wanted to punch someone in the face more than Corn Pop Tooth Dopey Face.

I loved Little Big League...up until the hidden ball trick part. That was an obvious balk and should have been called as such. Furthermore, the security guard who partook in that play would have been fired by the team.

Yeah I left it off on purpose. I've heard of Mr Baseball but Never seen it. I loved Little Big League...up until the hidden ball trick part. I never saw Little Big League but they did the hidden ball trick in Rookie of the year as well.

I'm not familiar with the rules of baseball having only ever played street rules. But isn't a Balk a fake throw towards the batter? How does the rule come into play when it's towards the first baseman? But the Lob pitch from Rookie of the year. I know that was a Balk, he throws his arm towards the batter 3 times before he releases the ball.

the pitcher cannot be on the mound/rubber without the ball or its a balk. So wouldn't that mean in Little Big League it wasn't a balk because the pitcher never let go of the ball?

I don't think you can fake throw to a base that is occupied. If you motion toward the base you have to throw the ball
