1 . Daniel Bryan being fired for choking out Justin Roberts.
2. Christian losing the WHC 2 days after winning it for the first time in his career.
Both man recovered well an some good came out of the situation but at those moments which one caused more outrage on the board.

No doubt, tie choking. Everyone was so excited on this board for NXT guys invading and didn't know where it was going. It seemed like something new and unexpected was happening in the WWE, and all of a sudden the most popular guy in the group on this board was fired, which we thought would kill all the momentum this new group had.
I've never looked in the archives, but I remember all of the crazy theories and newz stories surrounding it. Before we knew it was for sure the tie choke someone said that Bryan had thrown a cigarette out and it had caught some rags on fire and burned some tapes that had footage of Vince Sr. and Vince was so mad that he fired Bryan. I also remember someone saying that Steph's and HHH's daughter got scared and cried when she saw Bryan choking Justin and Stephanie fired him on the spot. There were other ridiculous ones that I've forgotten.

I feel like both of those started here as joke theories and got reported as legit theories by various newz sites.

Daniel Bryan had about 7 30 page threads and countless other locked threads over the span of 2 days or so, it's not even close.

There was a lot of anger in the Bryan threads, but there was more speculation over wtf happened than anything. With Christian, it was just pure outrage. People were PISSED. So id say Christian.

The Christian thing made Orton fans turn on him, a very popular face. That spoiler thread was filled with nothing but venom.

Also, many people could understand why Bryan was fired and (correctly) thought he would be back.
The Christian saga was just a depressed fan base that got no happy ending.

Daniel Bryan. People were lashing out and searching for a scapegoat, be it Linda McMahon's (previous) Senate run or complaints from Mattel or K-Mart. It looks like Mattel was indeed the sponsor who complained. We were mad because Daniel Bryan went out and did as instructed. WWE wanted pure destruction.
But the anger didn't have the lasting impact of Christian's because word came out very early that WWE would hire Daniel Bryan back after the Senate election or even sooner. This turned out to be true and people moved on. Christian's five day (or two day) reign after his epic win can't be undone. You never get another chance to book someone's first title reign and Christian didn't even get one. We were hopeful this could be Christian's true breakout run in WWE. It wasn't meant to be.

Did Bryan ever explain how he came back , i heard Cena stood up for the guy . Not sure how true that is or if it was all planned from the start.

yeah once the details came out about tiegate, I think many began to realize that bryan's firing was only temporary.

He gave an interview right after the Yes chants started taking off and if I recall he said a sponsor complained, he accepted the release, they told him they'd like to hire him back, and they ended up doing just that. He may have said that WWE officials were pleased with the way he handled the release.

The Bryan thing smelled like an overreaction on WWE's part based on the lines of what constituted PG.
The Christian thing was a giant "f*** you" to all his fans, and to him, saying that regardless of how the people who line our pockets feel, we dont see you as a main eventer, and no reaction or match quality will change that. Please spend the summer putting the guy we like over.

Christian still hasn't recovered from that reign, while getting fired was probably the best thing to happen to Daniel Bryan.
Though the question was which caused the most outrage, which was easily the firing.

If this is for our own personal thoughts, mine were:
*Daniel Bryan Gets Fired* "What!? Really? That's lame. Ugh."
*Christian loses belt after a few days* "Pfff!! Ha! Well....whatever"
So D-Bry for me, but neither really tore me up inside.

getting fired was probably the best thing to happen to Daniel Bryan. Ain't that just the story of his WWE career in a nutshell... The guy's career could have been dead 10 times over by now, but he just makes it work for him time after time basically without fail. That said, I voted Christian. At least with Bryan, you could say that sponsors forced their hand and things worked out in the end... With Christian, that was just a straight punt to the nuts of all concerned except for Randy Orton.
