Well the storm/outages wouldnt change that number, as they werent watching any non-raw shows either, it'll just change the overall viewers.

Viewer totals: 8:00- 4.31 million 9:00- 4.22 million 10:00- 3.78 million Not surprising with that big drop. You had the outages, evacuations, and people watching the coverage.

Going 3 hours was a huge mistake.

I bet the Del Rio/Gabriel match lost at least 500,000 viewers. On a side note, WWE should make the first two hours the actual live show, while the final hour should be a post-game show. Include interviews with the stars about their matches, hype the next show, announce the main events for the next week of programming, etc.

Whether going 3 hours is a mistake can only be known by looking at revenue from 3 hours vs. 2 hours. Maybe the overall rating is down because it's three over 3 hours, but the ad revenue is surely up because there in an extra hour's worth of ads. And you'd also have to factor in what the rating was for whatever led into Raw when it was a 2-hour show.
Even if the rating number dips slightly, WWE is still offering advertisers a pretty narrowly focused target demographic that is attractive -- it's not a coincidence that there are so many video game and movie ads, because the people spending money on those are probably mostly younger males -- the people who make up the Raw audience.

Raw should go to 90 minutes.
Two 45 minute halves, plus stoppage time.

And that's the reason they went 3 hours. USA requested it and WWE get more money for the coffers. And if USA is happy with the current ratings, that's all that matters because they are ones who yah or nah on re-upping or cancelling WWE's tv contract.
