At a WCW house show in Manchester around 1999, Scott Steiner was cutting a heel promo, getting lots of heat. Suddenly, he said this line "...and let me tell you somethin'... I THINK MANCHESTER UNITED SUCK!" About 75% of the crowd popped for that line. That one little bit of cheap heat backfiring is all I can remember about that particular show.
What's your random house show memories?

Meeting and chatting with Dean Malenko at a Smackdown/ECW house show....that was an amazing experience, down to earth, but more interested in the action inside the ring.

Jerry Lawler pointing out my sign at a WWF house show in 1997... Bret Hart and Undertaker having an awesome match that ended in a DQ at the same show... getting to see Owen and Bulldog as a team for the only time...
At a TNA house show in 06, seeing one of the best tag matches I've seen in a decade in AJ & Daniels vs. Lethal & Sabin... getting piss ass drunk from their beer vendor before I even turned 21... walking up to the concessions during a boring Robert Roode vs. Eric Young match and seeing Earl Hebner standing by the bathroom and asking him where the bathroom was, just to be a dick and act like I didn't know who he was... a surprisingly awesome main event of Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner... Spike Dudley taking some stupid bumps in a hardcore match with Abyss. Great show.

Have been a fan for many years but only attended 1 WWE House Show.
I remember an awesome match between Funaki and Jamie Knoble. The crowd being promised a surprise for the tour on WWE.com (Someone pulled out) and people were expecting a legend or appearance from someone big time (Like Vince McMahon) and instead we got Brian Kendrick and Paul London
I remember something that I guess was mostly one of the first TNA House Shows (Under a different name, WSW) which featured Rhino and Jarrett brawling in an empty part of a 5000 seat building.
That same card featured a pretty fantastic AJ Styles/Christopher Daniels match and gave me a new found respect for the Dudley Boyz who worked the crowd like crazy and were the most entertaining on the card.

My first house show at the Meadowlands with Andre beating "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan by countout and Jimmy Hart dressing up like Peggy Sue.

Getting Konnan's autograph in the parking lot of a 1998 WCW house show, in Hammond, IN. He beat El Dandy...who the hell was he to defeat El Dandy? Also at this show, the recently passed Brad Armstrong took on some guy named Goldberg in the opening match. Other notable matches were Jericho taking on Prince Iaukea, DDP vs Raven for the US title, and Ric Flair taking on Curt Hennig in the main event.

I saw 2007 DX re-unite weeks before it happened on TV in a 5 on 2 match against The Spirit Squad.
I saw Kurt Angle wrestle his last match in the WWE against Chris Benoit in a ECW house show in White Plains. Also, CM Punk jumped into the crowd right where I was (sitting front row) and he posed in front of my friend and I while I marked out like crazy. Also took home a piece of a broken table from the main event of Big Show vs. Sabu.

First show ever, about '86 or '87, from whoever was trying to run Knoxville. Early in the night, my uncle pissed off Hector Guerrero with his non-stop heckling, and the main event featured Bob and Brad Armstrong against the Rock n Roll RPMs. After the Armstrongs won, my uncle began heckling the RPMs, leading to one of them pointing at him and motioning for him to come down there. So he stood up and started making his way down the bleachers. I was scared to death, because I was 4 or 5 years old and thought it was all real. Then the guy jumped behind his partner and started pointing out my uncle to a cop.

Expanding on the Civic Center memories, I went to a WCW show in the early-1990s with my brother and our friend. It was an okay show, but my friend looked to the back and saw Rick Rude watching the match through the curtain. He told us and we looked back; there was Ravishing Rick dressed nice (with obligatory fanny pack) watching. Funnier still, he wasn't even on the card, yet he was there. (That was the same night we were promised Sid Vicious vs. Big Van Vader and neither man showed up.) At another show, it took 3 playthroughs of the Midnight Express theme to get the team to come out. (I remember us chanting "One more time! One more time!" Maybe Bobby or Stan were busy dropping a deuce, I dunno.) At another, the American Males theme was cut-off before the guys even came out because of this exchange: Theme: AMERICAN MALES! A couple of fans: SUCK! Theme: AMERICAN MALES! Some more fans join in: SUCK! Theme: AMERICAN MALES! The whole building: SUCK! Theme: AMERICAN MALES! The whole building: SUCK! They cut the theme off cold. I love that place.

Meadowlands NJ 1996, was forth row from ringside - Shawn and Yoko vs Owen and Bulldog
Piper vs 123 Kid ( Piper wrestled to make up for Diesel and Razor no showing, little did we know, they were going to WCW)
Bret vs Taker ( I still get chills thinking about Takers entrance) ended in DQ with Goldust doing a run in.
Ahmed Johnson vs Farooq I want to say?
Ring Master vs Scotty to hotty( I don't remember his ring name then.)
Funniest part, me and this drunk ass man, kept screaming for The million dollar man and Ted getting wayyy pist. Kept scream...TEDDDDDDDDDDDD, TEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! He moved to the other side of the ring and when he came out for another match, he stayed away from our side.

Oh, another one. Taking a 'Toothless Aggression' sign with a low-res picture of Chris Benoit to a house show. Why the hell did I take a sign to a house show? And why Benoit? I didn't even like him that much.

I don't get it... Why wouldn't you take a sign to a house show? Is the only point of the sign to see it on tv? I thought it was to get the attention of the wrestlers.

me and my cousins yelling "GO BACK TO BROOKLYN!" several times at the Brooklyn Brawler prior to his introduction at the show I went to at Madison Square Gaden in 1990. after Fink announced him, he posed and yelled "GO BACK TO BROOKLYN!"
we were pretty confused.

I did the exact same thing to him at a house show in El Paso in '95, and I was ringside. He responds with, "Shut up, you Mexican idiot!" The reason he said that was because El Paso is in Texas and on the Mexican border.

- Seeing Owen's last match, the night before he passed at Over the Edge.
- Asking Howard Finkel for a turnbuckle pad, and he replied that he's not HSN.
- Patting Paul Bearer's sweaty back.
- Meeting Steven Richards and Chris Nowinski. Richards was very cool and down to earth, and Nowinski seemed to think "holy crap, this is crazy. Can't believe I'm living a dream". He seemed amazed at the number of people trying to get his signature.
