With Gallows going by that name now, whenever he does signings and stuff, do you remember him more as Gallows or Festus?
The only thing I really remember about Festus was that memorable match against The Undertaker.
Maybe it's just a part of me that remembers him more as Festus than Gallows.

Festus was the more memorable gimmick. Luke Gallows just had the benefit of being affiliated with CM Punk.

I'm pretty sure Festus had more victories to his name than Luke Gallows did, hard as that might be to believe.

I'd love to know how he wound up being released.
They were obviously really high on him, I mean they gave him a pretty competitive one on one with Taker. No one gets that unless they expect some good things.

Festus had better matches, plus a better and really unique gimmick that was able to be built. Luke Gallows never had enough time for his character to develop more.

As much as the Festus character could be one note, I liked the idea of this guy who was just an earthquake in a bottle. I don't think the character would have a very long shelf life, but they could have done a lot more with him in the same fashion they did with Kane over a few years. And yes, that Undertaker match was all kinds of fun.

I only started watching during 2010, so I know him as Luke Gallows. I prefer him as Gallows, too.

Luke Gallows
Honestly, I think Luke could have been a credible upper-midcarder if WWE creative didn't drop the ball like usual. Big guy, looks mean, decent charisma, okay on the mic and very good in the ring.
Am disappointed WWE didn't do more with him when the SES split up.

Festus was entertaining. Gallows was an average lackey.
Festus is my answer.

Gallows, only because the SES was slightly more memorable than Jesse/Festus, though as a wrestler the thing I remember most about him was the whole Festus Jekyll/Hyde thing going on when the bell rung.

Festus. Looked alot more menacing even though he was "special" and he matches were more fun. Gallows just was there and they could of used any random tall development guy in that role.

Festus was literally my favorite wrestler at the end of the Dalton Boys run(that's Jesse and Festus. They were cousins. Remember? Neither does anyone else)
Luke Gallows was boring and useless.
I always thought uke should have "fallen off the wagon", started using "drugs" again, and turned back into Festus. Have him feud with a returning Slam Master J.

I don't know. I loved the SES but Festus had that awesome match with Taker.
Eh, I'll give it Festus just because he had the more memorable gimmick.

Festus was definitely more memorable. Gallows became a jobber pretty quickly as I recall. He was also so good in the role as Festus. One of those "Only he could have done that well with that character" situations.
